Waldorf Astoria Orlando

Course was in pristine shape, literally looks like no one had played there is weeks. Tee boxes, fairways and greens were elite. Played many courses in the Orlando area during the last week and by far in the best shape. Great layout and will be back next year. Well done!

This course is a must play course in the Orlando area. The course overall was in immaculate condition and staff is very friendly.

The course is pristine and the service is 5-Star. If there were 6 stars, the Waldorf deserves it.

Had a tee time at Celebration for 109 bucks but golf now informed me that they were overseeing and it was cart path only. What else do you have I asked? Waldorf Astoria for 155 bucks. Get to Waldorf and they also are overseeing! Cart Path only! So I paid an extra 50 bucks for the same cart path only! This comes on the heals of my free Peacock for golf pass plus members. After 3 and a half years of free Peacock, and with my Peacock running out on 2-1-2025. I got charged 79.99 for a year of Peacock! I thought free didn’t cost anything? This company is so bad at everything they do it is incredible. Tried to cancel 2 times at Orange County national because the course is in terrible shape after a hurricane. Golf now e-mailed the info. Tried to cancel 2 times and get a refund. Heard from Millie and she cancelled one and got a refund. Millie what about the second? Rebooking another time with them is fruitless. The last time I rebooked. this time at Waldorf, and the incompetent woman cancelled the tee time on the 12th and rebooked me on November 4th. I called her on November 4th from New York. Wouldn’t you rebook a tee time cancelled for the 12th for another round on the 12th? Pretty tough to make a tee time on November 4th in Orlando when you are 1000 miles away in New York 2 hours before she rebooks you! Golf now is going down the tubes! If anyone from there contacts me I will keep you posted! Millie….did you get my e-mail? Any response? Yikes!

Course just came out of overseeding, and in my opinion it came out too soon. According to the staff they over seeded on Nov 4. I played on Nov 9. The course was not ready. They had mowed rhe back nine, but the ffsirways had nit filled in.

Second, they did a masterful job of hiding the cart paths from the fairways. The downside of that is that while on the cart path uou can rarely see the fairway snd that means you cant see where your ball is located. So you stop the cart, guess where hour ball is and take a handful of clubs. I found it annoying and a few times, even though i had a minimum of three clubs, i had guessed wrong

So, my advice is to wait until they allow carts in the fairways, ehich should be before thanksgiving. .

From arrival to departure, the staff and course did not disappoint.

Due to overseeing, it was cart path only. Pace of play with a 10:30 AM tee time was 3:45.

Course in great shape, Greens rolled nicely.

This course was fantastic. Challenging, good length and selection of tees, with more than one rated for women which is an excellent addition.

We loved it and will be back.

Nice course. I had a fantastic rate through Golf Now so it wasn't to painful in the pocket. Would I pay 100 plus dollars to play it, no.

Staff was friendly, course was in good condition and layout was enjoyable. We have played this course before but first time taking our son and wanted him to have a great experience. Unfortunately, that did not happen. There was no one monitoring pace of play and it was nearly a four hour and 45 minute round, with one point having four groups on a part 3 waiting. to pay $150 and have to wait every shot is not acceptable.

Played today while on vacation from P.A. Course was worth every penny. Not only was the course in perfect shape every staff member from the pro shop to the guys maintaining the course said hello and waved when you passed

Good layout, quality fairways and good greens. Each hole kept your interest. Will definitely play again. Staff and service were excellent.

Fun to play and well maintained

Course is in great conditions, even after the hurricane. There was a little bit of sand on the greens but it didn’t affect as much as they were rolling really well.

We stayed at the Wyndham across the street and saw this course from where we were staying. We had a great time and enjoyed everything about the course. Greens were difficult to get used to due to lot of sand on most of them, but overall they were in great shape.

Nice course, good conditions, friendly staff, would not pay full price however in the summer/fall months, not that nice.
