Waldorf Astoria Orlando

On a golf trip to Orlando from mass .. we wanted to play most of the top courses in the area and thought for the 295$ they were charging it was going to be much better course .. staff was super friendly , starter was a great guy … greens were in absolutely horrible shape and slow as can be ( a couple were patched in with ground under repair stakes ) , it’s a 120/150$ course .. they have a expensive course vibe with the amenities but the actual golf course is nothing great … safe to say I will not be back here to play or be recommending this course

THE STAFF WAS FANTASTIC. FROM THE VALET CHECK-IN TO THE STARTER. THIS WAS A FANTASTIC WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE. COURSE HAS LOTS OF WATER, BUT OVERALL FANTASTIC.

The green is so slow with sands and poor conditions. It is very not worth for $180 per person compared with other 10 courses which we played in past 2 weeks in Orlando. I couldn’t understand how is rating 4.6 by google and 5 star by Golfnow.

Was very pleased with my experience here — service was great at valet, bag drop and cart staff. Great practice range to warm-up. Greens were consistent from practice green to course, albeit both ran fairly slow. Course was in great shape, and it’s a fun layout. Bunkers and thick Bermuda rough around them were the toughest challenge here!

Not a five star course, maximum 3 star, poor green conditions. Don’t waste your money on it!

Exceptional service from check in until return. Beautiful practice facilities included. Water on cart a classy touch. Course is in fantastic shape.

Easy course layout and nice staff from valets parking down to starter. But green so slow that feel like putting on first cut fairway rough. A group ahead totally out of position that everyone else behind had to wait several minutes on every shot, but no one showed up to mitigate this kind of slow play, absolutely ruined our experience after forking out $200+ green fee. Not something expected from Waldorf-Astoria …

Glad we went. First time playing the course. Great condition & layout. Got stuck behind some slow players. Fortunately they quit after 9 holes. This place is a bit pricey for my liking but worth playing once.
