Waldorf Astoria Orlando

I love this course the last time I played. The staff is great but this was not there day. First the play was slow for only the front 9 is open. This put stress on the people in front of you which I was a single at the time. I did play through but only because I passed them while they were on the green, I was told when the back nine is completed they will start on the front nine for renovation. So, when this is complete, I will return. Mot until!!!

Kind of boring layout. Poor course conditions during summer. No food. No beverage cart.

Low season so no food or beverage cart, and 9 holes only due to renovations.

An awesome course and very friendly staff. They are currently doing renovations on the back nine. The course and greens are in great shape. Keep up the good work and thanks again for being soo professional and I will definitely play there again when I am in the area.

Facilities are really good, especially for a hotel course. Amazing staff and it was basically empty. 9 holes shut down for renovations. Can’t wait to come back and see what they did to change the course.

The course is going through some major reconstruction so only 9 holes were open Greens had been aerated so they played some what slow. Aeration is needed to keep the greens in great shape. Fairways were superb! I would like to come back when all the work is complete and play the full course. It should be immaculate with all they are doing to it.

Since only 9 holes were open, I suppose golfers looked for alternate places to play. There were very few golfers on the course when I played. It was like having the course to myself!

This course was Immaculate. From the golf shop to the last green.

Wow we loved this course the only thing that sucked about the layout is they only had 9 holes available but I told that will change in November. I look forward to playing it next year when we come back to Disney

WA is a really nice 9 hole track for now. They are updating the back nine and looking forward to playing the 18

Tee to greens were in excellent shape but for the bunkers. Can’t blame them on that as is must have rained a ton the day prior.

Fairways are tight. Ball sits up in rough. Beware greens are slow. All in all a really good “resort” course.

As I was the first out time wasn’t a factor ( 9 in just over an hour). But I can see this getting slow as the day progresses

This is a 5 star course but I could only give it 4 because only 9 hole are currently open. The back 9 is currently under renovation. It will reopen next year at which time the front is going to be renovated. That being said, if you are looking to just play 9 I would highly recommend it.

With the back 9 under renovation it is possible that the front 9 would suffer. NOT AT ALL, course in fantastic condition, staff superb and anybody in Orlando wanting to play golf must go to the Waldorf Astoria.

I only wish we had played more rounds there.
