Waldorf Astoria Orlando

I’ve played several big courses in Orlando, Howie in the Hills, Deer Island, Mount Dora, and this course is the top one I’ve been to. Amazing greens, fairways, even the rough is maintained.

Great course people where very helpful and professional looking forward to playing the course again. I had only one complaint they only had nine holes open front nine being refurbished.

This wonderful Rees Jones layout is a second shot golf course and will test the skill of low handicap players by putting a premium on accurate iron play into heavily bunkered green complexes.

From the up tees it is a delightful layout for mid to high handicap players who will enjoy a high end club experience with an excellent practice facility just a mile from Disney Springs. The Golf Staff is very accommodating and friendly.

Found it challenging off the white T’s for my hcp but very fun and entertaining.

Front nine is closed. Back nine is very short, about 3000 yards from the back tees.

Course is in amazing condition! Staff is top notch as well. Only real issue is price

Course was in great shape, even though it was aerated

The Waldorf Astoria, golf course is having a facelift because the Waldorf-Astoria hotel has expanded a ballroom out onto the golf course which has made the golf course redesign the back nine. The back nine is playable however, it is not quite finished because the construction is not finished. They are presently working on the front nine sand traps green fairways tea boxes. Regardless, this is always and has always been a beautiful and well-kept golf course.

The course is in great shape, but only nine holes available due to renovations on the other nine. Not crowded at all. Play early due to the heat, but two water bottles provided and plenty of water on the course.

Wish the front 9 had been open. But played the back twice and it was a real joy. Hoping to return when the entire course is available.

I initially chose this based on reviews and lack of availability in a lot of other places.

I think the best way to describe this is boring and uninspired. The course poses very little challenge, greens are flat and uninspiring. Just not a lot to write home about.

Not a single memorable hole and when I run into a golf course that I don't feel compelled to take a picture of, that's saying something.
