Waldorf Astoria Orlando

Very wet fairways and the drainage didn’t appear able to cope. Had to leave on 16 due to inclement weather. In fairness the greens were excellent, but I expected better from a course with a premium price. I won’t be revisiting.

From arriving to leaving this place is excellent.

Course conditions were excellent, fairways, bunkers & greens spot on . Greens are elevated with all the trouble to front of greens with narrow entrances to the greens.

Course was unique only one dogleg most holes were about the same with deep bunkers green were in great shape and putted true great staff and amenities would play again!

And yes, I said EXPERIENCE. Golf can usually be described as an outing, a round, an event… but with Waldorf it is truly an amazing “experience”. From the first impression at the valet to the ice cold scented towels in the summer heat or full sized beach towels provided after a rainy day when you finish your round, Waldorf is a first class resort that knows what really matters to make their guests feel special.

Once again, another Absolute top draw very professional experience, from arrival car valet service, you're clubs are taken to your buggy to registration with Carl in the Pro shop who not only makes you feel very welcome but also gives you help with other top courses to play at the time, also cannot not mention the very nice helpful welcoming Starter David at the 1st tee a lovely man came down from Minnesota and never went back.

From the complementary Range to the fabulous course in great condition with great pace of play, in all we had a wonderful day, outstanding value.

Even though the greens were punched 7-10 days prior, the greens were still in great condition. It had dried out nicely and was only CPO on one hole. It’s a bit pricey but for the money it’s probably the best in the Orlando area compared to Disney and other “premium” courses. Can’t wait to play there again soon!

Course has just been aerated so grains were pretty rough and the pace of play was really slow due to no ranger keeping pace of play up and pretty bad group in front of us

Waldorf shows excellence in customer service beyond any other course in the area. The staff is top notch, professional and over the top accommodating. Its what you would expect from such an amazing brand. the course today was soggy from 3 days of excessive rain so it was CPO, the greens were just punched but surprisingly rolled close to true, more so than any other course around after 2 weeks of healing. Its always a true delight to be welcomed back to this wonderful course as it has become one of my absolute favorites in the orlando area
