Great course!
Great course, great staff, and great layout! Slow play was a problem.....
Review of King and Bear
Excellent staff. Amenities were great. Facilities were clean and appealing. Course was in decent shape. Looked like it had had lots of play and divots in the fairways were numerous without repair or sand. Greens were fantastic. Beautiful layout.
I'm falling in love with the King and the Bear
I've always liked the Slammer & Squire more than the King and the Bear. This was about my 5th time on the K & B. I'm starting to remember to go up and look at where the water comes in on holes. The greens are not easy to read, but I'm starting to "feel" the breaks with my feet. It is a very interesting, challenging layout. The people in the clubhouse and on the course were very helpful. Love the driving range and practice greens.
Slammer & Squire after thoughts
Course was in good condition. Beautiful day in the 80's.
Some wind but just enough to keep it cool.
Ripoff
Not surprisingly, conditions were very wet after considerable rainfall the previous day. The driving range was closed and all of the pins were located on extreme positions close to the edge of every green, yet we were still charged the full rate of $159 per person. I understand trying to protect the course but don't charge a premium price if you don't provide the full experience.
Great course
Great course, kept up well; know it’s a bit expensive but worth the money. Easy playing environment.
A must play golf course
This golf course is beautiful, it's on my bucket lists to play and I am glad that I finally played this golf course twice.
Golf at its Best
Slammer Squire was a great track. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience
Fun Course...Pristine Conditions!
Slammer & Squire was a beautiful and fun course to play. It was actually a little more difficult than I was expecting. The course was in pristine shape. I would definitely recommend playing if you are in the area...especially for the price.
Great Golf Course, the Slammer and the Squire
Outstanding Golf Course. Very nice clubhouse with restaurant that we ate in prior to our tee time.
