Course in poor condition
This course was in poor condition. Pace of play was slow but overall the course was not well maintained.
Great Layout
I really liked this course. Many fair and challenging shots, and the scenery was excellent. The course was a little nicked up and some of the tee boxes were a hot mess, but overall, it worked out very well. I would go back to play next year on the trip.
COURSE HAS DECLINED OVER THE YEARS
Sad to say both courses at Stone Mountain have decline over the years in quality of conditions. Will not be back again as I can play other courses in the area where the maintenance is actually done.
Nice course layout, but the fairways were extremely soaked from recent rain, almost unplayable at several holes. tee spots were not ready for the season, so many tee spots were moved forward.
3/7/26 not bad
Good course with a bit of a boring design. Nothing crazy and a good course to practice on. However at the price $83 regular plus $20 at the gate for parking makes it tough.
All in all, I will be back but for a discounted rate.
Awful course
Zero authority over pace of play. We arrived promptly to our tee time with two teams in front of us who have yet to even tee off. It took us roughly 30 mins of sitting at the tee box after our scheduled tee time to begin playing, which of course led to an entire day of waiting. Unrepaired divots all over the tee boxes. Course was just .....bland. There is a stretch of 4 holes in a row where every single course has the exact same layout and are all stacked on top of each other. People were hitting into our fairway. There is also a hole (I believe hole 9) where the driving range hits into the course? Who designed this? There were range balls all over the hole and people basically hitting practice shots into you. On top of all of that, you have to pay at minimum a $20 parking fee for the day, or $40 for the year. Cannot believe I purchased the year pass because I do not plan on coming back here.
Early spring tough conditions
Tough conditions this spring. Greens are punched and not sanded, nearly impossible to play. 3’ puts get knocked offline. No grass on the fairways or tee boxes. It’s a beautiful location and good for early season practice, but tough shape in February.
Great value and wonderful staff!
The course is in wonderful shape. The staff from the front desk starter cart staff and bag drop were exceptional @
Fun course
Overall course was good, greens could definitely use some work but overall experience was good
$20 to enter park !!!!
I just wanted to play golf
If I would have known before hand that it
cost an extra $20 just to enter the I would have never played the course
And I will not recommend this course to anyone
Nice layout, mostly in good shape
I will preface this by saying we paid $60 on a weekend because of a hot deal and golf pass premium to play here which I thought was reasonable. If I paid full price I would be disappointed. Also the $20 to enter Stone Mountain park is kinda bs the golf club should arrange to have that waived with a valid tee time. Overall there were 2-3 greens in bad shape and 1-2 fairways in bad shape. Otherwise I was very pleased with course conditions for early February golf. Started and cart girl were extremely nice. Pace of play was not horrible but as always could improve. Working Water stations and ball washers would also be nice. I think water was turned off due to freezing temps overnight but some free water would be nice if this is the case or at least a heads up would be good. For a course within 30 min or so of Atlanta I would put this on par/ slightly better than most in the $60 a round on a weekend category.
