Had a great time
We played in early February so we knew that grass would not be growing. We found the course to be in very good condition for this time of year. Fairways were excellent and traps were all raked and had plenty of sand. The layout is great with no repetiveness, lots of sand and water, rolling land, large challenging, greens, and privacy with no homes in the course. We literally didn’t see another golfer and were able to play in 3 hours (2 golfers). Staff was very friendly and clubhouse and golf shop and excellent. We will be back. Thank you!
Great winter golf
Course was in very good condition for the winter season. Greens were relatively smooth, traps in good condition and fairways had adequate dormant Bermuda grass to keep your ball off the ground. After two inches of rain two days previous, the course was still very playable.
Love this course!
I was excited to play this course again, after 12 yrs. Even though the burmuda fairways were brown and the greens were healing in places from a wet but hot summer, I still loved this course. The layout is challenging with numerous bunkers around the greens. But the fairways, for the most part, are generously wide. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Beautiful clubhouse. Can’t wait to play Brasstown again soon with a friend who moved nearby.
sick green
over all course view is beautiful. staff is mostly friendly 8 out of 10 rating. At first tee, starter can ruin your day even before your very first swing.
You don't need poker faced drill sergeant on your weekend golf outing. Need to repair green, it's in very bad condition.
The course was beautiful. The views were outstanding. The course was tough but fair. Look forward to playing it again the next time we are in the area.
Great Course, Slow Greens
Course layout was awesome. Many unique hole. Very friendly staff. Only complaint was the greens were very slow for the quality of course, I had a lot of trouble rolling the ball to the hole. Otherwise, great experience.
Beautiful
Great course and layout with challenging holes.
Greens had been aierated - they were a little rough. But for the value a great Mountain course.
Been far better
Played this course many times. Highly disappointed this past time. Conditions are just not good for price. 45ish plus unless it's a hot deal? 35 for a hot deal? Conditions are not worth it. Greens are in horrible shape. It's more like a less-than-20 dollar course. Other courses are in much better shape in the area...and much cheaper.
NICE PLACE !
Love this golf course !!!- some greens were 'burnt" but still the ball rolled over them spots good.
Excellent tee boxes , great condition fairways YEAR round...as they don't cut the fairways so low like others do. You can hit under the ball in fairway well like you are suppose too !
Greens under stress
As usual the course is beautiful, but greens are on the way out. While they still rolled true, there were lots of bare spots. Bent grass suffers in the summer heat.
Great views
Every hole is a mountain view . The course was in great shape . a few of the green had some bare spots apparently from nematodes , but the pins were positioned so these did not really come into play . My only problem with Brasstown is the price. We only saw two other groups out there and they either worked there or were members of some sort as the cart guys all knew them . Why not drop the price a little and get some play . I would certainly play there more if the price were in the 45 dollar range ?? Still, great course
Barbara & Bruce Brasstown
My wife and I travel in our motorhome and play golf as much as we can in different states and cities. We were camping in Bald Mountain RV Resort, Hiawassee Ga. and the weather was perfect the day we played golf at Brasstown Golf Resort. The course for a Georgia mountain course was in excellent condition. The green were very fast and you needed to keep the ball under the hole, traps were in great shape and easy to get out of. The staff was very helpful and the club house and restaurant were beautiful. I would highly recommend playing Brasstown Golf Course if you are in the Hiawassee Georgia area, great course and a great Hot Deal value.
Enjoyed ourselves, will be back
Loved the course. Got a little unlucky with the weather......played 17 holes since skies opened up on the 18th tee. Will come up again. Food in the grill was good. We teed off at 12:30 on a Monday and the drink cart quit making rounds about 1 p.m. even though golfers were still very much on the course. It would have been nice for her to stay out there at least until 3. Booked the foursome on Golf Now and paid close to $10 booking fee. I'm used to getting discount fees by booking on Golf Now, but I could have gotten the same $59 rate by calling the course directly. Essentially, I paid $10 too much. Not happy about that. But, everything else was top notch.
great course with good greens
I played this course with a friend up from florida . He enjoyed the course much more than some local white county courses we have played .
Beautiful scenery!
Course was in nice shape. Greens held well and fairways were perfect. First time there, some blind shots. But not enough that I didn’t really enjoy the course. Would recommend giving it a try. Sharpen your sand game in advance!
Very nice course Brasstown Valley Resort
I saw this course just out exploring and it looked very nice from the road. I then looked on golf now and saw the hot deal. I drove about a hour to play and it was well worth it. My wife and I ate at the restaurant and the food was very good as well. We will definitely be back. Regular rate before 2 is $89 and regular rate after 2 is $49.
