Unforgettable Couse
This is one of the most beautiful golf courses I have ever played! Despite the beautiful golf course, the surrounding mountain scenery is magnificent, and we saw an abundance of wildlife! Also, in the restaurant at Brasstown Valley Resort, I had one of the best steaks I've ever eaten! This resort and the golf course should be on every "Bucket List".....!!!
Outstanding mountain layout! Greens were in superb condition. Very enjoyable course. Highly recommend it.
Beautiful day for golf
Course had recently been airrated, so thI greens were in very bad shape. However, this course is a gem in the summer. I cannot wait to play it again. It’s one of my favorite courses.
golfnow specials
Greens had been sanded; fairways very wt in many spots.
Beautiful and challenging Mountain course
The course is beautiful and the staff was very friendly. The greens were top dressed with a heavy coat of sand. Several holes were cart path only, but they probably should have added some additional holes to the list of cart path only holes. Several fairways had muddy spots and cart ruts from groups not being careful. All in all the course was top notch. The bunkers were all well cared for with good sand in them. It was a challenging track with lots of hazards.
Great layout!
Course was great ...even though it was a little wet still had. Great time! This is a course you can score on if you can keep it in the fairway offs the tee!
Bad day to play!
I got a very low rate to play on Sunday 4/1 but when I made my tee time on Golf Now, the advisory had not yet been posted as to the greens being aerified. The amount of sand on the greens made them unplayable. I really like the course and drive a little over an hour to get there. I will be back, but not any time soon as it will take some time and rain for those green to recover.
Very beautiful course!
This is a very good place to play golf. The links style design makes for a challenge, yet fun experience. The only downside is that you do not go by the clubhouse between 9's, although they normally have a beverage cart making rounds. All in all this is definitely one of the better courses in North Georgia. I highly recommend trying it!
Beautiful views
I have played this course in the summer and it is a very challenging course that is just fun to play. My most resent trip , the course was very wet and the greens slow as would be expected for early March. I love Brasstown Valley Resort and highly recommend for the whole family. Great staff
Best in western NC
Staff was excelllent course and pace of play was perfect. They let my wife and I out ahead of a foursome which was perfect. Stayed for lunch and a beer. Cottage surrounded the area would be great for any outing . Don’t miss this one
Always a great experience
As always Brasstown was a true pleasure to play. Even in the dead of winter the course was in really good shape, the greens were true and the sand in the traps well maintained. The staff is always welcoming and friendly and make you welcome from the minute you drop your bags to the minute you leave the resort. It all adds up to one of the recently announced Top 50.
Winter Condtions
Despite being the third week in January, heavy rain the day/night before, the course was in excellent condition. Yes, the Bermuda fairways are dormant, but still great; hardly any divots. Course is relatively open, which surprised me. And it's a golf course, not lined with houses, swimming pools and barking dogs. Greens were in great shape, too. A bit tricky with elevation changes. And the scenery? I would be tempted to sneak a fishing rod in my bag next trip... fish voices in the stream were calling my name.
Great round
First time playing the course. Very enjoyable. A little overcast for the day, but incredible views.
Good pace of play.
Enjoyable round - paired up with great partners for a theeesome.
