About Callaway Resort & Gardens
Callaway Resort & Gardens is a 2,500-acre retreat in Pine Mountain, Georgia, about an hour's drive from Atlanta. The property was founded in 1952 and today features 36 holes of golf and many more natural and outdoor activities on the grounds to explore. The resort is home to the Lake View and Mountain View 18-hole golf courses, both wind and tumble through the rugged and forested terrain. The Callaway Resort & Gardens is set on Robin Lake, which has a beach area, while there is a robust events calendar bringing arts and entertainment to the property. In addition to golf, there are three pools onsite, workshops, hiking, tennis and a spa. The Treetop Adventure is a series of ziplines and bridges in the trees, and there is also a large butterfly center and birds of prey exhibit. For restaurants, there is a multitude of dining areas ranging from fine to casual, beach and poolside fare. Accommodations range from rooms and suites in The Lodge and Spa; more relaxed cottages with full kitchens and fireplaces; large and upscale villas; and the more affordable Mountain Creek Inn.Facts

Awesome Course.
Great course that's always a pleasure to play. Very crowded on Saturdays from mid-morning to early afternoon so pace of play is very slow. Other than that, this is an awesome course.
Bar is pricey
If the beverage prices were a little more reasonable, then it would have been the perfect golf facility
Good Course but Tough Conditions
I've played this course before and it was in great shape. It was obvious that the area had a very bad winter, Very little grass on the fairways and greens. Hopefully when the weather warms up the conditions will improve.
A Great time
Staff are friendly. Greens are in great condition. Pace was a little slow but that’s to be expected on a Saturday afternoon. Great experience!

Callaway gardens mountain course
A very fun/scene course. Course in good condition but not as great as it was in past years

Awesome Course Beautiful Greens
I play this course almost weekly and can say it's one of the best maintained courses around this area. I teed off early
and never slowed down or had to wait on anyone. Great resort to stay for the weekend. Bring the wife and pamper her with a massage while you play golf and everyone's happy!

Great course
I have played this course many times and the greens were as good as I seen. I love playing this course.

Always a pleasure to play
We venture to Callaway Gardens for a fall weekend every year. The course was in great shape this week, the greens were speedy and in great shape. We played mountain view and the resident turkeys were out and about as usual. Mountainview is challenging but not over the top, packed pretty tight for a Sunday afternoon and a bit of wait time between holes but still a pleasure to play. Never disappointed here.
It can't get much better than that when it comes to reviews or testimonials. We appreciate your taking the time to share your thoughts. And, we look forward to your future visits for years to come.

Green right on the $$$!
We had a 9:10 tee off and was able to tee off a little early. Problem is it should have been about 15 mins early because we got stuck behind 2 foursome that never bothered to allow us to play through. By no means was this the courses fault it was just a nuisance for us. We were waiting to him every shot we took. The only other suggestion would be to keep a close eye on your ball if it gets in the 2nd cut because it can be very difficult to find even it you think you know where it landed or stopped. As usual I will probably be there playing again this week sometime. Very friendly staff!!!!

Great Course for the Value
You can always expect the course to be in excellent shape and the greens to be perfect. I personally don't think you can find a better place to play in the area for the value and course conditions. We be there again Friday provided Hurricane Irma doesn't keep us off the course.

Challenging But Good
Pay attention to your ball's landing position especially in the first cut of rough... can be hard to find until you are right on top of it!
