The resort is home to the Lake View and Mountain View 18-hole golf courses, both wind and tumble through the rugged and forested terrain. The Callaway Resort & Gardens is set on Robin Lake, which has a beach area, while there is a robust events calendar bringing arts and entertainment to the property. In addition to golf, there are three pools onsite, workshops, hiking, tennis and a spa. The Treetop Adventure is a series of ziplines and bridges in the trees, and there is also a large butterfly center and birds of prey exhibit. For restaurants, there is a multitude of dining areas ranging from fine to casual, beach and poolside fare. Accommodations range from rooms and suites in The Lodge and Spa; more relaxed cottages with full kitchens and fireplaces; large and upscale villas; and the more affordable Mountain Creek Inn.Facts

Great hole! Photo submitted by dongolf0123 on 04/21/2014
Fun course
Fun course. Fairly easy, good for beginners. Super short course. Bunkers and greens were not exactly stellar, but certainly better than some other courses I've played in the area.
World class layout
Still winter golf not greening up yet but had a wonderful day meet a nice couple. We had the same tee time it was a great day
Great Course
Conditions were a little wet. Great course though. Probably even better once the grass greens up from it's present dormant state. Challenging course. Worth it
Lake View
The course is in good shape considering the recent rains and has dried out to where it is not too wet. The greens are in very good shape and are rolling nicely.
Outstanding
I played the course around two year ago, it was still in outstanding shape, Short course however you have to use all the clubs in you baggage. Great view of the lake and peaceful.
Always a pleasure
The Mountain View course at Callaway Gardens is always a pleasure to play, and it starts right from the beginning at check in. Their range complex is awesome. there's virtually nothing that you can't work on there. The course itself is is highly maintained and worth playing. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Short but Sweet
Very short course but greens and bunker locations make approach shots difficult. Surroundings are second to none. $23 on golf now made this a no-brainer. Will be back!
Classic design with room to drive the ball and smallish greens guarded by bunkers.
Classic design and old school customer service that made golf so popular. I wish we'd scheduled an earlier tee time so we could've played 36 holes. (We were able to squeeze in a 3rd nine - still didn't score worth a hoot.) Tree lined, lots of bunkers and pretty past greens. Fun, fun, fun, and sneaky difficult to score. The rough is probably a bear in the spring and summer. We'll be back.
great day at Mountain View
I really enjoyed my round at Mountain View. Surprisingly there were not many golfers on the course and I played at a very quick pace. It was a little long for my game from the white tees (6600+) but I buckled up and gave it a go. The greens rolled true once you got on them. Most are well guarded by deep bunkers in front (as should be expected by a course that hosted a tour event, the Buick Challenge as recently as 2002). The well placed fairway bunkers seemed to have" ball magnets" in them as many of my better drives seemed to find them. I can't wait for my next opportunity to give it a go.
Fantastic Course and great deal on Golf Now
Been wanting to go to this course for some time. However with a 30 min drive and $75-$100 green fee it's been low on my list. With golf now I was able to get a morning or afternoon time for <$30! Will definitely go again!
No bad holes on this course
A former site of a PGA tour event, this course has plenty to offer. Built in the GA pines, it requires long accurate tee shots to score well. Not as much variety in the design of the holes-the only real downside.
