Love Chateau Elan Woodlands- layout is great, challenging but fair. Played it many times. When I booked the tee time on Golf Now, no reference was made to the fact the greens were JUST aerated when I booked the tee time. Although we had a very enjoyable day, golf now should have alerted to the change on their web site.

The course has not yet turned green, expected for Bermuda. Great layout, greens were in very good condition. Overall for this time of year, pleasantly surprised… Will definitely come back

The course provides a terrific challenge and you’ll need as many shots as you can come up with. Great course.

Played woodlands today, grass is getting greener by the day. Greens are slow compared to what they will be in a few weeks when they cut them. Course is in fabulous shape. Best public clubhouse in north Georgia! Can’t wait to play again!

I played from the green tees and it felt short. I didn’t need driver a lot because of the short par 4s. That said, accuracy of the tee is rewarded but the fairways are pretty forgiving. You’ll just be hitting from an awkward lie but that’s Georgia golf.

The greens were impeccable. Not unrealistically fast but definitely moving. The best part was they were true. Every put was consistent. I’ll play it again just to putt on these greens.

The staff is what makes this place great! Very friendly, super helpful and kind.

Course is in excellent late winter / early spring shape. The greens are good but a tad slow. Pace of play was excellent, under 4 hours! Get out and enjoy!

Hey guys, love the course and restaurant in clubhouse. But you can’t charge $90 for Friday afternoon and have the following issues;

Old golf carts that don’t work. One group was pushing theirs back to the clubhouse as we hit the first tee. Our golf cart brake didn’t work. We had a pile of branches, chunks of asphalt, and rocks stashed in the cart to use as brakes under our tires. One tire was bald. Huge safety risk. I told the cart guy and he showed me how to delicately apply the brake which he could only do once in every 5 attempts.

The course wasn’t in great shape for $90. Maybe $60 value. Mole traps placed around a couple tee boxes which were destroyed.

Halfway house has a sign that says “snacks”. There weren’t any and no attendant their selling food or anything.

A lot of maintenance is needed around cart path and Pine straw and grass. It’s been rutted out all over.

Again, for the price, you’ve got to reinvest to make the course match that price.

I played here in the past and as always this course is in great shape the greens are immaculate and the staff was very friendly I love playing here when I get the chance and I'll suggest you play it too if you're a golfer who likes a challenge this course has a great layout.

Booked on the Woodlands course but when I arrived it was closed (not sure why). At least three groups were lined up to start in the Chateau course. Must have merged all tee times from two courses to one. Would have been nice to have known this prior to arrival. So pace of play was slower than would have expected. But overall course is good shape considering its mid-February. Greens are excellent.
