This was the #13 green if i'm not mistaken. Can see how nice the sand bunkers were and how nice the green was. Photo submitted by bryan6804634 on 09/16/2016
Great Shape
Course was fantastic and the employees from the Marshall to your restaurant were outstanding.
One thing is recommended is get the cart girl and new cart. Something updated , looks like she is driving a 76 Buck Regal. Also it would be nice to have more cart girls.
Pace of playing
The people in front of us playing so slow every hole and practice shots. Better go to range for practice. Not on the course.
Great Experience at Chateau Elan Par 3
Great course, in great condition. Fun to play with my wife, who is still learning. (Aren't we all?) My only gripe is the 9th hole. It's tee, water, green, carrying 160 yds. Not a big deal, but I had only brought a few short clubs, OK with laying up when necessary. NO laying up on this hole! :)
Horrible staff and club
Chateau has increased their rates, but they dont deserves the current rate due to staffs attitude.
Not worth it to play at chateau for that money, thete are much better places around chateau elan
Great time!!
took my girlfriend who’s a very new golfer to play this par 3 course, and was told at the pro shop it was no pace of play and a great place to learn! about halfway through taking our time people infront and behind us we were verbally assaulted by a course regular about how slow we were going, the pro shop was very friendly and helpful towards the situation that happened but just really made it hard to focus on the last few holes, all and all still had a great time and i’d definitely play these courses here again
Excellent Condition
This course is in awesome shape right now. Greens and fairways looking great! Will definitely be back soon
Chateau Elan Par 3
I chose to play here for my first "on course" experience after a long layoff due to an injury.
Reading the description of the course, I expected a bigger mix of 'short and long". Really there were very short (under100 yd) and short(100-130) yds with the exception of the 9th hold which requires a 160 carry over water to a landing are that was a very small green with woods and weeds all around.
Service at Chateau Elan is alway good. The gentleman maning the pro shop was helpful with directions and the practice areas and grill are excellent, but the par 3 is at another entrance so you drive back to it.
Pristine Conditions
Played 5/16/24. Course was in perfect condition. I have been playing this course 3-5 times a year for 10 years. I have never seen it in better condition.
Not with it
Conditions were poor for how lavish it’s marketed. Whole different area then regular golf courses.
They’ve gotten greedy!!!
I used to love coming here but lately they’ve gotten so greedy!!! They are over booking without a Marshall so it can take 6 hours on a weekend.
The course was in great shape!!!
This was a great outing and the course had a good pace of play.
Very beautiful par three course
We had several levels of golf ability so our day was meant to be fun and relaxing, not competitive. For that it was perfect. The course is beautiful. Has some great water obstacles. It’s a walking course so we have our pushcarts was great. There was not a bathroom close by so prepare for that :-) I believe you can get to one up in the main château, but we did not go there.
We will definitely be going again
Early Round
Course is in decent condition. Greens are fast. Fairways are in good shape. Some tees are in progress of som much needed TLC. Some bunkers are shallow with sand and others need to be rebuilt.
