About Chateau Elan Winery & Resort

Chateau Elan Winery & Resort is a golf resort located in the North Georgia mountains to the northeast of the Atlanta metro area in Braselton. This 3,500-acre estate is home to a nearly 300-room and suite resort (with a collection of villas as well), winery and four golf courses (one of which is accessible to members only). In addition to two 18-hole resort courses, there is a 9-hole executive course. The resort completed a $25 million enhancement project in September, 2020, the first major renovation since the property opened in the 1980s. The lobby was entirely redesigned and there are four new dining concepts. Additional activities at Chateau Elan include an outdoor pool, tennis courts and culinary studio.

Excellent short game course

Pros - good challenging short course

Cons - greens where just arreated. But not over sanded so greens where still fast.

No directions nor paths to the next tee. Had to hunt due to hills blocking views.

All holes except number 9 are well maintained.

9 could be so picturesque.

It would be nice if a Marshall stopped by once in a while because some people abuse this course.

Chateau course in great shape.

4-5 stars across the board except in two areas. A bit pricey compared to comparable courses. Also the young lady in beverage cart only made it by twice and it was scorching hot. Other than that a great day. Waited briefly every hole and still played in about 3.5 hours. Forgot how difficult the course is. Greens really quick. Keep it below the hole.

Interior staff was great and big help.
