Sweet
Course was awesome with challenging fairways and very nice greens.
Played it twice in one day
I found a deal on Golf Now and decided to try it. I ended up playing 36 holes. Very nice place. Thanks for the hospitality.
Nice course in a golf community
Nice course and well kept. I recommend it.
Course is located in a gated community and a great golfing experience.
Nice course
A nice, well maintained course. Played on a perfect weather day.
Enjoyable
Course is in pretty decent shape, mostly green with a few bald patches on some of the fairways. Greens are well kept though they do play slow.
Enjoyed the course, challenging but forgiving on most holes. There was no one else on the course so you could take your time with every shot.
Good Condition
I've played Fairfield many times, and yesterday it was in the best condition I've ever seen.
Not looking too good!
The fairways are extremely rough right now. Even in the middle, it's dirt on many holes. Oh yeah, the grounds crew is more than happy to turn the sprinklers on while you're on the green. The kid running the Pro shop was extremely helpful and nice. That was the highlight of the day!
Beautiful day for golf
The fairways were very thin and grass had not filled in yet. Probably won't play there again until that happens. Course is a great challenge. Enjoy playing there usually.
Great value
Friendly staff, great rangers that kept a very full golf course on pace. Some of the fairways are washed out with little grass, greens were in good shape. Updated gps carts would make a huge difference here since that really has become the standard.
I enjoyed it
I enjoyed the course and will be returning soon. JW
wake up please
Everything was fine except that this is the second time at this course that I've had one of the first two tee times in the morning and both times the carts haven't been ready.
The marshal was very friendly and efficient, keeping a good eye on the pace of play.
You get what you pay for!
Course is in need of maintenance. It's a timeshares course therefore anyone can play. There was no dress code enforcement. On the good side, playing after noon allowed us to play at our own pace.
Course in good shape
Fairway in good winter shape, greens coming along. A word of caution...watch out for the goose droppings. (Will need less fertilizer)
Hidden Gem
Great course. Challenging but not overpowering. Shot 88
well designed for all golfers, but needs maintenance
I like the course layout. For a first time player, there are very few surprises that you don't see from your hitting area. If the maintenance of this course were better, I would love to play it often. Good practice area, but could also use some manicuring.
Horrible Course!
The course was awful! I now see why it is so cheap to play! First, I called about the aerating listed on GolfNow to double check, and the woman at the pro shop said it was done aerating. That was not the case. While there was no sand on the greens, there were still holes, crab grass, and dead spots all over the greens. They keep the practice green in perfect shape but the course greens are awful. Secondly, the fairways were in terrible shape! There was crabgrass on every single hole, and not just in small spots, I'm to assume on some holes it could have covered half the fairway! Hole one, if you hit an iron off the tee, your ball will not find a clean area off the fairway. You have to hit at least 250 out to find any considerably reasonable fairway grass! Third, they had construction crews on the course during play but failed to mention it. These guys were cutting down trees and making non stop noise! On hole 6, two guys were trimming near yhe green with weed eaters. and while walking up to the green, one gentleman started cussing and screaming as I am hitting my ball because of something that happened. it was very unproffesional. On hole 13, the construction took over the right side of the fairway closest to the green. Lastly, the staff is not friendly, the older woman that is in the shop does not have a smile on her face and seems smug and short when dealing with customers. I have seen this on more than one occasion. At least try and fake that you enjoy your job please! Also, the cart paths are in awful shape, it feels like a roller coaster ride! I would not recommend this course to anyone. Even for the cheap price, it is not worth your time!
Great greens
Enjoyed the course and the staff.
Will play again soon. One of the best
Courses in West Georgia
A little biy of work could make this course GREAT!
Fairways require some attention due to crab grass, but greens were good. Overall facility is very nice and staff friendly.
Very good conditions both greens and fairways.
A very nice course, challenging layout, water hazards on the par threes made it a tricky tee shot into the green.I have only one criticism of the course, the distance markers were off and hard to locate disks in the ground. I only bring this up because when its your first time playing the course you need to know! The course is well worth playing.
Staff at this course very friendly and accomadating
Course maintained well , they are always ready to work with you if you get there early ,can usually tee off early
