Georgia's Hard Labor Creek State Park is located on Lake Rutlege east of Atlanta off I-20. This state park facility features a range of accommodations from camp sites and RV sites to 20 2-bedroom cottages. Amenities here are highlighted by the 18-hole golf course designed by Denis Griffiths and features a pro shop, full driving range, grill and bar. Additional features of this state park, which is on the National Register of Historic Places, is horseback riding, off-road mountain biking, hiking, beachside swimming and boat rentals.Facts

Great Time
One of the best and enjoyable days I've had this year the course is in great shape and the people are very nice and kind I enjoyed myself I will refer this course to anyone.
The Creek
Terrific course. No houses, no worries. Great test and greens are in great shape
The creek at hard labor
The crew is working hard out there. The greens are in terrific shape. The grounds that are under repair are not an inconvenience at all. Great day on a course that is truly out in the woods. No houses, all outdoor goodness.
Good play but slow
The fairways were green and lush and the greens were fast. Pace of play was slow but everyone was polite and patient which made it bearable. Id play here again.
Course is a lot netter
I am very glad that someone came along and gave the place a new lift it is a lot better and coming a long great can’t wait to the the finishing touches

Great round of golf
With the recent heavy rainfall, track conditions were excellent except #13. As a scratch golfer I enjoy the subtle challenges of The Creek course. Also, staff (Mike) offer first class customer service.
Going again
Nice challenge- greens fast even when wet and true - bring your putting game - fairway conditions good but some washout spots around- it has some hills - tee boxes imperfect and little torn up - will play again- pace a bit slow but it did rain slowing things a bit

Course was wet, cart path only but was in good condition. Only a couple of greens were in bad shape

Great course, close to the beach and campground areas. Great state park!
Fun round
I usually play this course on the weekdays when the pace of play is excellent. If you don’t want to feel rushed on Saturday, grab a tee time around 1pm
Great time at The Creek
The staff has done a great job and the course is looking and playing better than it has in years.
Greens in good shape fun course. Slow Saturday play
The Creek offered some challenging golf with good manicured greens and good layout.
Staff at pro shop not the most enthusiastic bunch and slow Saturday play however would recommend playing
The course is come along great
The course has come along way in two years we have played there the last three Sundays and even after a lot of rain the course was a lot better than expected
