Georgia's Hard Labor Creek State Park is located on Lake Rutlege east of Atlanta off I-20. This state park facility features a range of accommodations from camp sites and RV sites to 20 2-bedroom cottages. Amenities here are highlighted by the 18-hole golf course designed by Denis Griffiths and features a pro shop, full driving range, grill and bar. Additional features of this state park, which is on the National Register of Historic Places, is horseback riding, off-road mountain biking, hiking, beachside swimming and boat rentals.Facts

The course has improved
It has been about two years sense we played at the creek because of course issues and greens but it has come along ways sense then and we will be back as long as it stays in good condition
Late afternoon golf
Tee off around 3PM me and 2 of my golf partners Course was not crowded took our time really enjoyed the Course greens were in great shape and fast. The Guy in the pro shop was super friendly even other players were very nice. Really like the track will be playing a lot more great price on golf now.
Terrible service
The lady came by us 4 separate times to tell us that it is almost 8pm like we did not know. ALSO drive at me while I’m preparing to take my last shot onto the green on hole 18 at 759 and drove behind me while I was in mid swing to tell me what time it is. Absolutely horrendous service and do not plan on coming back strictly due to her horrible customer service, not to mention the greens are kinda out of date and the tee boxes were terrible. But her attitude and driving behind me and in front of me while I’m trying to rush to finish was absolute horse sh!…
Great Condition
Great Condition the course was awesome
And the club house was nice as well
And they have a great hot dog.

The course was in great condition and established very friendly and they serve a good hot dog recommend this course to a friend
Great course for the price. Greens need some work but truly had a great day
Decent course
First time playing. It’s a decent course. My only real problem was the staff working the course didn’t seem to care that people were playing golf. I understand they have a job to do but at most course staff tends to move to the side and let you hit and won’t run there mowers around tee box as your teeing off. Courses staff acted like the golfers were just in their way.
July 5th outing
Great afternoon at Hard Labor. Course is in outstanding condition. Pace was slow but, it’s a holiday. Enjoyed a great time with my son. We’ll be back soon.
Great shape
I have not played the course in about a year or so. I have to say the course is in the best shape I have ever seen and look forward to playing it more frequently.GREAT SHAPE and great course to play.
