Georgia's Hard Labor Creek State Park is located on Lake Rutlege east of Atlanta off I-20. This state park facility features a range of accommodations from camp sites and RV sites to 20 2-bedroom cottages. Amenities here are highlighted by the 18-hole golf course designed by Denis Griffiths and features a pro shop, full driving range, grill and bar. Additional features of this state park, which is on the National Register of Historic Places, is horseback riding, off-road mountain biking, hiking, beachside swimming and boat rentals.Facts

The weather was great and the greens rolled true. my wife sank a 50 put!! YEAH! NO houses very peaceful
Hard Labor
Good layout course needs to control cart traffic as what little grass there is is very thin so like playing bare lies greens need blown snd rolled to be more consistent it is dormant and damage can still be done
Would love to see the state put some bad needed money into the course because it really is a good and fun layout a lot of the real back tees are not being used and a lot of them are in very good shape
Hard Labor Golf
Read how great the greens were and fast . Found this to not be true. No speed and we’re inconsistent. Little bumpy as they needed blown off and rolled. Fun layout
and all should give it a play . Nice tree lined with elevation change . I am sure I just caught the course on a off day

Love playing this course, challenging yet really fun.

It is a good challenge course, if, you are trying to improve your game. I would definitely return for more rounds.

overall not a bad course if you like hitting the middle of the fairway and your ball rolls off to the woods due to very uneven ground. very hilly overall

First Hole in One!!
I'm actually a member at Highland Walk in Royston ga , But I love to go out to play at Hard Labor Creek. I had a regular great round then hit my tee shot on the par 3 #5 hole. Pin location was near the front behind the bunker. Hit a sky hi 9iron shot and it landed on the front fringe and rolled on and rolled on in the cup. A group of 4 had let me play through so they were my witnesses. Always had a great time and round at The Creek.
Course is getting better
The staff has done a lot of needed cleanup around the course and the conditions are really good. The greens are super fast
