Cold Day
Played on a cold day which ball flight was limited that left this course playing a longer. Course conditions was okay but greens were a little fast. The 15th green had no grass just seeding look like. Played here numerous times but not at this time of year so this course does looks better in the spring/summer.
greens bare in spots hard,, bumpy and extremely fast. Fairways are thin. Other players in groups in front of me needed classes of usual etiquette on course.
Nice
Greens fantastic. All else fine. Need to improve the pace of play. Very tired of golfers not understanding READY GOLF! If you suck, cool, just suck fast. Will be back at Hard Labor.
Good shape
Nice surroundings as it’s a state park. Overall course was in good shape. Greens were very fast. Pace of play was a touch slow at times but no prob for us as we were just enjoying the day. Reasonably priced.
Fantastic golf facility.
This was my second time playing this course. My son and I had a great time playing at this golf course. The staff is extremely helpful. The course plays great. I will be back again and again, this is a hidden gem. Keep up the great work.
A very enjoyable experience
I can't remember a round of golf where my buddy and I played 18 holes in about 3 hours. It was ideal and we will certainly return.
Eastside courses
Huge greens are in great condition, faster than the practice green. The layout is pretty open, easy to score, back up to the blue tees if you want more of a challenge. Club house staff is great.
Greens sanded
Greens were recently sanded. Of course they don't tell you that when you book or check-in. A few of the greens are in really bad shape due to disease. Hard to putt on many. Overall this is a decent track that's challenging but not overwhelming. But needs some maintenance right now. Played 10/18/20.
Good day
Good course to play, overall in good shape, greens are good & you have grass to hit off of in fairway. Rough is penalizing, need to rake or blow grass clippings.
Beautiful layout
Bermuda greens and wiry Bermuda rough around the greens provided a lot of challenges. Mature course with a lot of overhanging trees likewise.
