Fun course
Very fun course to play. Staff was awesome. Played 18 and then went into town to eat at a place the staff recommended. Best wings I've ever had. The returned and played 18 more for $17 replay rate. Lots of elevation changes with tree lined fairways. Tee boxes were in average shape but greens were great. Can't wait to come back and play again
state park deserves better
Played this course for the first time, course is tight but plaued okay. Negatives: it 3ained the night before hard and course was too wet, but thet opened anyway. Greens were in bad shape, very hard and rolled very fast. We teed off at 250pm. And by time we finished 18 at 610pm, the clubhouse was closed. No signs nothing, just closed up. The only positive was the scenery.
Augusta bound
Chose to play here after we landed in Atlanta and drive to Augusta for a practice round at the Masters. The course was brown and had some places under repair but that did not affect play dramatically. Greens held well ask the putting was fine. There are some bare areas due throughout the course. From what I could find online I felt that we got good value. The layout was overall above par
Beautiful course
Beautiful rolling hill course with major elevation changes. Fairways and greens were in Google shape. Overall great course and would highly recommend!
Awesome Staff
Best Kept Secret in Georgia!! The course is in great shape, the greens are always nice, plays long if you need it to be, just a great golf course to play.
Wet, but fun
Took my son in laws out before they returned home from the holidays. The course was in as good a condition as you could expect for wet and winter. The staff was friendly and helpful. The course marshall offered friendly advice on shot selection for the wet (puddled) course. The course is fairly challenging with a lot or up and down tee to green holes and some narrow fairways. It was a great value for the money.
Beautiful course, great experience
Nestled in the secluded rolling hills of Hard Labor State Park, The Creek certainly exceeded my expectations this beautiful morning. The only noises that could be heard were those of woodpeckers and other animals foraging. The summer was rough to the greens at The Creek,as it was with most courses, but the greens have certainly made an impressive comeback. They were fast and smooth this particular day. It's a fun course that requires you to make shots. IIt's worth the drive
excellent greens
Greens were in great shape. Some tee boxes were pretty rough. Overall really great course for the price. Secluded, quiet, scenic.
Carpet Greens
Some of the nicest kept greens. Very quiet and picturesque.
Hard Labor Creek
This course is very hard fairways are extremely narrow and the greens are fast.If your a beginner you don't want to play from the white tees.
great course, staff needs a smile
very nice course. thanks to the great weather the area has experienced, the conditions were excellent. Only problem is the staff was not as friendly or helpful as one would expect. Once I got on the course, it was a great round.
Good Course, But Too Many Changes
I have played this course twice previously over the years, the last time just after the greens had been redone about 10 years ago. My son and I met there for an afternoon of golf. We picked a place that was about halfway between where we lived. To my surprise, there were many of the green side bunkers that had been filled in to grass traps. One that was muddy just behind a green, and would always be that way because it could never drain. There were numerous greens with dead spots as well. The overall condition of the course was average at best.
FANTASTIC GOLF COURSE
I was very surprised that a State Owned Facility would be this nice? The golf course is very well maintained. Only playing golf since May this year, I found the course very challenging. It's a long course with few par 3 holes. I actually prefer the par 4 & 5 holes. The greens are 4/5 and fairways are quite nice. Clubhouse is also nice and very clean! Beautiful course overall, quiet and private as well.
Great Course!!!
Play this course every chance I get. It is a challenging course with beautiful scenery. You will not find another course of its caliber for the price. Entire staff professional and friendly.
Note: Hole #11. Hit a perfect second shot in order to stay on the green.
Close to perfection
One of the best kept secretes in Atlanta ,
This course will make every shot count
It's fair, but equally challenging Discpline plays a great part in coungquerin this hidden gem of social circle ga
Great public track
The course is in great shape . The greens are a little slow, but overall the course plays well.
Good value
Challenging but fair layout. Greens were recently punched but rolled pretty well. Well worth the trip from the Atlanta burbs.
nice place
The course was in great shape and very challenging, staff was super friendly. Will definitely play again.
Tuesday Special
Very friendly staff, well equipped pro shop. Greens were just aerated and topped with sand which really did not hinder putts. Great surroundings with up and down dog legs. Don't forget to ring the BELL on the first hole? Best of all, Tuesdays only cost $25.00 for 18 with cart. It's worth the drive from Greensboro, Ga.
Hard to believe it's a State Park course
This course is in amazing shape. Perfect fairways and greens. This course is tight. Need to hit the ball straight. Water comes into play on many holes. This is one of the nicest courses around. Definitely a hidden gem.
