Construction
I only gave it a mediocre review because all the greens were under construction but the price was reflective of this
Hcm
I wish I had known it was under construction I would not have booked it
Course under renovation
The course is complete mess, the greens are being renovated all 18 holes. That information would have save me my money and my time. The booking should have explained that problem before the the booking process.
Temporary greens!
All the front nine greens are temporary greens as all being reinstalled.
No greens to play on.
All greens are being redone. Was told at clubhouse their was a warning on golf now. I went back and looked, their was none. We played the back nine twice. Greens were non existent. I need my money back.
Redoing the greens
We just played there with friends and did not know they were redoing the greens. It was rough and course is not in good shape
Greens...
Greens were scheduled to be replaced/renovated a couple weeks after our rd. They were in pretty rough shape so glad to see the issue being addressed.
Otherwise a solid course in good shape with a challenging layout.
Pace was frustrating, condition declining
I generally do not get all that wound up about pace, but this round was the most frustrating I've played in quite some time. They had people so stacked up on the first tee, and the effect just continued throughout the entire round. What's even harder to understand is they had someone who was supposed to be the starter, but he really didn't serve much purpose. It seemed as though likely multiple groups arrived late but were just allowed in whenever they strolled up to the tee despite their actual time being earlier. I get it - you want everyone to play their round, but when people are that late, they need to wait for an opening - don't punish all the other groups who were ready to tee off at the appropriate time. The condition of the course has also seemed to slip noticeably in the last year or two. It used to be in great shape, but not so much anymore. Needs attention. I'm not likely to play it very often going forward, which I hate because it used to be one of my very favorite courses around.
About to bulldoze greens
In all fairness they are about to undergo a major renovation including bulldozing all the greens - so not much has been done to maintain the greens and it shows. Looking for to revising in Oct when they plan to be done. Starting next week they will have temporary greens and a revised course layout until they make it through construction
All the greens are in bad shape.
All the greens are in need of repair.
Also needs irrigation improvement on the cart path.
Good Layout/Fun Course...But
Always enjoy playing the Creek. Interesting layout with a solid variety of holes. Greens were not very good overall, but I understand that work is about to start on redoing all of them. Expect temporary greens to be in play. I will certainly return once the new greens are in.
Will be better this fall
Have enjoyed this course before as a good spot to play a quick afternoon round. Tee’d off as a junior tournament was finishing up. Pace of play was very slow. Greens are bad enough that I will not play here again until the greens go through their renovation this summer. Once that’s complete, I’m sure I’ll be back.
Rough greens and pace of play.
This course could benefit greatly from hiring a starter. It's a free for all for the first tee. Also they let 5-6 play at a time. Pace of play is really slow! The greens are shot!
Beautiful Place
The course is excellent. I saw they are replacing the greens. This is the weakness of the course at this time. It is a well designed course and a good value. With improved greens it would be an excellent value.
Greens are terrible and it’s not worth playing as a result!
The greens are terrible and there is no excuse. They either do not have the money to maintain the greens or do not have a greens keeper who knows what he is doing. It’s sad. It’s not worth playing there right now. Mold, dirt, etc on greens and tons of patches where there is not grass. A nice layout but greens are awful right now. Don’t bother playing unless it’s a hot deal under $20.
