Beautiful Course
I really Enjoyed this course. It was beautiful with unique features. Driving range barely had any grass to warm up…wish they had mats instead. For food, it is lacking. They do have hot dogs that were good! They have a variety of snacks and different drinks available by a can or plastic bottles. I wish I could play it again!
Course Critique
Very challenging course. We had a real good time greens are very fast. Overall this way a gem to play. We will definitely be back to play
5-Star Course
Everything you want on a golf course is here. Greens and fairways are excellent bordered by challenging rough. New golf carts with GPS are a nice addition. It's worth the long drive to play.
The overall course conditions
The course conditions was well maintained and the pace of play was slow for most of the round. The course is worth the value.
Will be back
Have wanted to play this course for a while and finally was able to. Being a state park I knew conditions would be good, but I was pleasantly surprised.
Tee boxes: 3.5/5
Fairways: 3.75/5
Bunkers: 4/5
Fringe/green-side: 4.5/5
Greens: 5/5
Clubhouse: 4/5
Cart-paths: 3/5
On-course amenities: 3.5/5(no beverage cart)
Not much I would say this course needs to improve on. I wasn’t a fan of the range being across the road but I didn’t use the range so thats just being picky.
5 is the best hole on the course and 10 is by far the most difficult hole on the course.
Out of the 3 state park courses I have played, the Creek would rank below Arrowhead Pointe and above Highland Walk.
The creek course
Looks fabulous. The greens are in top top condition if you like fast. Challenging course but fun.
Mini Augusta
Absolutely love this course and is the best course around for your money
The course has very features
The pace of play was excellent until we made the turn and got behind what looked like a family of 4 and don’t think they had ever played before sometimes they would hit 2 or 3 balls before moving on
The course is the best I have seen in a long time
Great course, great price
Had a blast playing a very pretty course with a great layout. Can't beat it for the money
This is definitely my favorite course it’s the best play for the value. Nothing can beat it for the price. The course conditions and greens gear better every week.
Unique Course, worth the drive from ATL
Lots of elevation changes and blind or near blind shots. Greens are in perfect condition. Fairways are showing the stress from lack of rain but still in good condition. Same for the Teeboxes. Couple of opportunities, random cart path only holes that you don’t know until your cart stops with a micro size pop up. It would be great to turn off the annoying advertisements on the GPS system and use the audible warning for the cart path only situations vs the advertisements. Next, carts should be allowed in The parking lot.
consistent greens
The course has a nice layout and all the greens rolled at the same pace!
