Hard Labor Creek State Park

Unpretentious bang for your buck with greens that are solid and only going to get better.

This course is well designed and accuracy off the tee is essential to set up a good second shot. Greens are undulating and guarded by strategic bunkers. We played 4/29/24 and the greens have just had vermiculite applied and aerated. So… tough to make a putt go straight. Greens should improve and return to being very fast soon.

Overall the course conditions are improving and flowers, plants and trees are all in bloom. Can’t say enough good things about the staff and Keith is the one I speak with the most. A real pleasure to play there again and again. DRH

Greens aren’t playable!!! Seriously needs some professional help. No way to hold the greens even with perfect shot. As hard as the cart path, no joking

Course is In really nice shape. The greens are hard but very fair.

Well I went back to find out about the new greens the state installed for the course.

The greens are coming, but its the first real growth time of the season. You would think after spending thousands of dollars to finally get grass on the greens, they could spend money on someone to take care of them. You can tell that the staff does not care to water properly and knows how to run there greens mowers. Training is all that is required to make this new style grass do its job. You have to take care of it early so it has a chance to thrive for the amount of play that this course could get if done right.

I wish the best of luck with the course I really think it could be really profitable if just a little incentive would be provided.

The course had new greens installed and they are firm as the pro shop warned

Still need to smooth out a little

Course was playing hard and fast on fairways

Almost impossible to keep the ball on 2nd green from left hand side of fairway

Little wet around the greens which was frustrating with balls stopping if 1 yard short and then bounces 10 yards if hit the greens

Course is quite hard and tight but last few holes are easier..

I had no idea the 16th was a par 5

Thought it was par 4..

They had sand for divots which is good

Tees are quite beat up and uneven

The teeing areas are perhaps too small

Will come back

Still not nearly as good as arrowhead

Course is a good course. Greens need more attention they are very bumpy and needs to finish coming in and rolled to smooth out.

Nice course but over booked, same as title, I’ll come back soon.

New Greens still filling in. Always an enjoyable time.

Lot of work being done allover

Tee boxes has some work to do

Add some topsoil to them

Trees are being cleared to get more sun and air around greens and tee-boxes

This summer the course will be great to play
