Watch for younger players here
It’s a family friendly course hence a lot of young players are here. Staff members are not too friendly or attentive. Felt rushed because of tight tea time. Also construction is mixed in on front nine right now.
Fun course, poor condition
This is a fun course that I have played at a number of times. Normally it’s in decent condition but they are currently re-sodding several of the fairways which means those areas are unplayable. All tee boxes on hole 1 are under repair so they turned it into a par 3 where you are teeing off from 150 yards from the rough. The greens were also punched within the last couple weeks which makes putting bumpy and slow. Pretty disappointing but hopefully it’s all fixed soon.
Needs a Ranger
The course was not in bad shape, but they needed a ranger out to keep the play moving. There was a 5 some in front of the 4 some in front of us and they kept playing two balls each. They had a few golfers that were beginners on a Saturday late morning. Slow pace down when it is 97 degrees and it is not fun.
Fun round, but beware after rain
Had a great time and the course wasn’t busy at all due to recent rain. But beware, said rain left many deep puddles and forced cart-path-only, so it was a messy round. Would have been nice if it’d been discounted due to the conditions. Still a good time, though and we’ll certainly be back.
Great course for mid skill golf
Played in the morning and pace of play was on par. Played a few weeks ago at twilight and it was way overbooked
Great course
Great layout of the course. Green run fast. Would definitely recommend to play.
Challenging greens
This course seems to have more challenging greens than many others in the area. That may have been partly exaggerated by the very dry conditions. I’m not a very good putter, so I had a lot of 3 putts. But is wasn’t just me; 2 of the players I was assigned with were very good golfers and they remarked on how challenging the greens were. Don’t change a thing - I need to learn!
First Time @ City
Staff was great! Location was awesome. The course was average but the pace of play was great. No water on the course so bring a 6 pack of bottle water.
