Golf perfection
This is just perfect
The place is a real gem
Golf and Tennis right next to an historic Hilton Hotel
Best Public Course in the South
This course is by far the best public course and is better than the surrounding country clubs in Atlanta. This is a fun course with water features, rolling hills and bunkers almost every hole. Try the pub inside the hotel behind the 18th too!
Nice course
Great course to play. Need rangers to organize pace of game
Need water
I play the city club once or twice a month and I enjoy it there. However, they dont run a cart lady and there are very few water stations. It’s really hot out and water would be nice
Course in Great Condition
The course itself was beautiful and played well considering how much rain we've been having recently. However, the group in front of us played multiple different tee boxes, which slowed everyone up the entire round and almost shut our golf carts down because of it. Disable this feature. Also, the beer cart girl wasn't seen until about hole 14. Lastly, hole one was littered with range balls, put up a higher net (if there even was one).
Ok course close to the house
Greens were sanded and aerated and very hard to putt! Fairways were good but a little landscaping would go along way. Course is close and good to play is you want to get in a round close to Marietta.
VERY SLOW Pace of Play
The course was back in good condition, but the Pace of Play was very very slow. It took us almost 6 hours to complete our round. We only saw the cart girl as we made the turn to the back nine, and there was never a ranger or anyone from the course out there to help with the pace. The course was obviously overbooked and understaffed, which made for a very long day for those of us trying to play.
Beautiful well kept course
Only negative was that there were no drinking water stations on the course and no cart serving drinks.
Good day at the golf course
I was surprised how much I liked the course. Lots of fun.
Pack a lunch
Finished 16 holes in 5 hours and 40 min. Wasn’t able to complete the round due to sundown.
Pack a lunch
Tee time was set for 4:20. Backup at #1 put us off after 4:30. Only finished 16 holes by 9:00!! Pace of play is worst I’ve seen. When I asked the cart guys about a marshal/ranger their words were ‘The pace of play here sucks because there isn’t enough staff to monitor pace. You should speak with Steve.’
Gave us a dead golf cart
Gave us a golf cart that was dead so we had to walk half the round. Tried calling the clubhouse after it died and they wouldn’t answer.
