Good Conditions
Played in the middle of a hot August afternoon, the course is in great condition. Fairways are good and green ( very few bare sports) and the greens are rolling great~!!!
Pace of play
No one monitoring pace of play. Five some played slow.
Wild West
People tee off at their leisure and not the correct time. Was put into 3 some which is fine but they were playing out of 1 bag which is ridiculous. Pace of play is awful. Need rangers to stagger better and enforce slower players to pick up after 8 shots.
Tight layout
The greens were really great. Most of the fairways and tees were good too with a few exceptions. There were a couple of steeply sloped fairways that were hard pan or even washed out. The layout was tight with many blind shots and holes to close together. I could see golfers getting hit from balls coming from adjacent fairways. They had a Marshall to speed up play which helped some. For a Monday morning this course was crowded but we played in about 4:15 hrs.
Pretty course. Nice greens
Slow pace. No Marshall. Carts OK but not great.
A lot of walking involved as carts Not allowed in many areas.
Overall beautiful course with some challenging holes. Great option for a public course.
But I may not come back on a weekend! Way too slow.
The Greens are REALLY good.
Nice short track. Short course, but has some challenges. Greens are in really nice shape. Course overall is in good shape. My son and I enjoyed it.
Greens were almost unplayable
I’ve played here many many times, usually a decent experience, greens were like putting on concrete and very inconsistent, at first I blamed it on myself but as I hit 2-3 putts from the same spot on several holes it was clear that it was me, pace of play was slow, no Marshall, no bev girl on a Sunday, aerated greens but still payed regular price. I will go elsewhere to play from now on.
Probably Won’t Be Back
Booked on GolfNow for $40 per player and when we arrived to the course they informed us that it would be $55 per player instead because we somehow booked a “weekday rate” on GolfNow but now had to pay the more expensive rate because it was a weekend. Not only did they bait switch the price on us, but there was also 0 notification that they just aerated as well. Outside of being conned by the pro shop, it wasn’t the worst day of golf. Bev cart and restaurant were fantastic. Pace of play was solid. Course was mediocre condition and aerated greens weren’t a fun surprise. Probably won’t be back due to not knowing what price I’ll actually have to pay upon arrival.
It was ok
Went into this round with low expectations (friend said it was bad). Left with a better experience then I expected. Nice staff, layout was intriguing (hole 2 was 252 yards par 4..I think), and greens ran really well. Pace of play wasn’t the greatest. I was glad I only played 9 and not 18, probably would’ve been a long round. Carts had GPS which super surprising consider the amount it cost to play. Overall, it was an ok round.
Pretty Decent Course
Greens were lightning fast. Pace of play was slow but that’s expected on a Saturday + cart path only. Overall good course
Late Afternoon Tee Time = Limited Food Options
Overall experience was average. Pace of play was good even with it being cart path only for the whole course that day. Greens, fairways, and tee boxes were well maintained. Seemed like there were hundreds of range balls near/on the fairway of hole #1.
With a 3:30 pm tee time it would have been nice to have been told that there would be no hot food available at the turn. We did made the turn at 5:30, which isn’t an unreasonable time for June to keep the grill going especially on a busy Saturday. Another big detractor is that there was no beverage/snack service on the course.
Honestly, just needs a little love
So I’ve played this course a couple times, once in the winter and recently in the summer. I think they just need to turn the sprinklers on. Right now, fairways aren’t quite green, there are plenty of dead spots, and the greens are firm and dry. The tee boxes were so dry they should’ve provided a hammer in the clubhouse so you can put a tee in the ground. Pace of play is alright, just depends on who you get paired with.
