Lake Richard B. Russell at Arrowhead Pointe State Park

MJ and his staff provided superior customer service. MJ comes out on the course to ensure everyone is having a good time. When he heard a member of our group had a hole in one the previous day he came into where we were having breakfast with a flag with “hole in one on 15” written on it. The course is dry and playing well

The issue is lack of resources.. we hit off at 10.45 am and by the end we were get cart warnings to return the carts by 7.30 pm.. We eventually finished at 4.05 pm

On the 14th tee - we had 4 groups on the hole and we could see the problem. The 16th hole was empty as a 6 some rolled up to the forward tee. Our cart informed us about 40 times we had to pick up the pace of play or a marshal would make us skip a hole - as we sat 15 yards behind the people on the tee in front of us..

You would think the carts could tell where the other carts are located

We called - we complained at the turn .. no one ever turned up...

Great course, best public course around. If you have the chance make the drive you want be disappointed. For a state run course it better than most private courses. Views are fantastic and no houses on the course.

Arrowhead is absolutely gorgeous. Best course around and it’s very affordable. Highly recommend playing this course. The in-cart gps is awesome and saves a lot of guesswork about yardage of shots. Staff is super friendly and helpful

Great layout. It was in excellent condition and the pace of play was perfect. I'll definitely be back.

Course is in great shape. Greens are not fast, but not too slow. Ball rolls true. Fairways and tee boxes were in great shape. Cart paths have a little damage and there was a tractor in the middle of a fairway next to a repair hole. Good place of play. Would have been better except for the ground crew employee who was grooming the traps. He drove the tractor around the traps while people putted, drove in front of groups while they were preparing to hit and just completely ignored the fact there were golfers on the course.
