Lake Richard B. Russell at Arrowhead Pointe State Park

Greens still bumpy and slow from aeration. We were informed when we booked, so not a big surprise. Still very nice course for the money.

Found this course on GolfNow with 5 star reviews so I thought I’d try it. Played with my brother in law and loves the course and the pace of play. Strongly recommend the course

Greens were stripped and putts did not role true, particularly around the hole. Fairways and roughs were cut to a good length. Bunkers had sufficient sand in them. Challenging but fair pin placements.

Set in a state park with several holes bordering lake Russel. No homes on the course making it serene experience

Beautiful course layout. Lake Russell comes into play quite a bit. fairways can be narrow with wooded rough nearby. bring lots of balls!

This course is great views of the lake and wooded wildlife. It's a great state supported course that all golfers should experience.

It's hard to find a better view on a golf course than the view that surrounds you when you get to the middle of the back nine where you see the lake in every direction. I really enjoy it here bc not only is it a great value but it can also prove to be quite a challenge especially from the blue and gold tees. Most of the fairways are well guarded and tree lined whether it's a short par 4 or a double dogleg par 5. So staying in or very near to the fairway from the tee is a must if you want to have a chance to score low. There are also some devilish pin positions that can give you fits if your approach doesnt find the correct level. I enjoy the challenge and when you combine all of that with quick greens that really roll true on the line you choose, you get a very fun golf experience.
