Lake Richard B. Russell at Arrowhead Pointe State Park

The front 9 is pretty average. Excellent fairways. Greens had been punched a week or two previous so not filled back out yet. The back 9 makes the course. Several holes around the lake or over it in some places. Worth the drive.

Arrowhead Pointe was in good condition as normal. Rough had been cut down some since last week. Pace of play was great. Remember to tell everyone in your group No Personal Coolers allowed.

Course was in excellent shape tee to green. Greens still recovering from aeration and not as smooth and true rolling as normal. Finished round at 2 pm and “19th hole” grill, snacks and drinks was closed so had to drive into Elberton for lunch.

This course is well off the beaten path but well worth the drive. It has several holes which play right along the Savannah River with is part of lake Russell with great views. The course is in great condition and you can tell that the maintenance crew does a great job with maintaining and taking care of the course.

For me, the only drawback is that the grill is ALWAYS understaffed. The person working at the grill went home at 2:00 pm. Who closes their grill at 2:00 pm on a weekend? The only thing we were able to get to eat was candy bars and chips which were sitting on a rack. That is ridiculious!!!

The course overall and the greens are great and some of the best in Georgia . A must play course, especially for the value you get with the very fair and reasonable price. I love playing Arrowhead Pointe when I can. Well worth the two hour drive for me to get there.

This is and always will be my favorite course in the area for the value. Awesome layout and some of the most scenic lake views you can get. Huge fan of this track

Greens had been punched and sanded so the putting conditions were not optimal. The fairways and rough were in good condition. I prefer colored flags over the pin placement chart. I would suggest getting chili without beans or letting it be know that the chili has beans and having the number for the snack shop on the carts.

The course was in great shape with the exception of the greens. ( recently punched and sanded ) Other than that I can’t wait to return for another great day of golf!

This course is off the beaten path but well worth the drive. It has several hole with a lake Russell views that are quite outstanding.

My wife and I golf in Myrtle Beach, Hilton Head, Charleston, etc. and my wife made the remark that this course is as nice as any course that we have played. It is in great condition and you can tell that the maintenance crew does a terrific job with this course. We got to the 3rd hole and it started pouring rain. We paid for 18 holes but we only played nine holes because we had other obligations. We hope to play this course again in the near future.

wonderful layout and visually stunning. The staff is super friendly and the food is great ! The condition of the course and greens is the best i’ve seen in Georgia . A must play course

The coarse is in great shape, however the grill is always understaffed, we had 8 golfers and it took way to loge to get a simple lunch. Also trash can outside the entrance was overstuffed. I realize it’s hard to find help, but cmon we can empty the trash. The coarse itself is great and the limited staff try, but they need to get some leadership..

We love playing Arrowhead Pointe when we visit family in that area. Course is almost always in good shape. Staff is friendly.

They need to have marshalls out on holidays and weekends.
