Lanier Islands

Course was in great shape. The design is very challenging, lots of forced carries. But the views and design was worth it. We will play again.

Got to the course early so I could eat breakfast and warm up on the range, only to find out that they’re renovating the clubhouse or something and just have a couple of trailers outside. Also they are turning the driving range into a par 3 course and just have a couple of nets to hit into. Really wish I would have known all this before I booked or I would have played elsewhere. Not worth the $150 it is to play there. Course was in decent condition considering it rained 2 days ago. Other than that I’d save your money and spend half of what the greens fees are here to play somewhere else

The course layout is challenging and the fairways and greens are in descent shape. The pace of play is terrible and no one was pushing the slow players to move. Ruined what could have been a nice round

Five stars. This is probably the nicest course I’ve ever played. It doesn’t get much better than this outside of a private club. Really good food is free. Great practice area. Nice staff. Everything you want.

Beautiful course, challenging just as we expected, but right at the start upon arriving to check in, the person we paid the fees was very rude, we asked a question and got a very rude response. He made sure to not even allow us to ask a follow up question. We felt terrible after dealing with him (forgive me for not having his name, but he was on shift yesterday at 9:30 am when we arrived 9/24).

The cart girl was awesome, very friendly. The guy that took our bags, also very nice and friendly. We mentioned the poor experience we had with the front desk person to other staff and the response was "Oh yeah, he is very moody, we never know what we will get with him" which is not what we expected given the amount of money we spent to paly a round (2 of us $354). The course itself is challenging, but great views so worth it. The pace of play is kind of slow, I think they could manage that a bit better but we would visit again as long as we did not have to deal with the very rude staff member.

Booked a tee time for 2 and the staff had 3 groups of 4 in front of us and a group of 4 behind us. There was no staff to monitor the pace of play and both groups in front of us was hitting 2-3 balls each per tee box and multiple drops in the middle of the course. We teed off at 1:50 and by 5:30 had only managed to get to hole 11 we left after playing only 11holes and when we went inside and told the 2 kids that were inside they said there was nothing they could do and the staff left early. Spent over $350,00 to play 11 holes and no apologies or comps after driving nearly 2 hours and $350,00… Very disappointed and will reach out to Mr Williams the owner and let him know what is going on so hopefully he can get better staff… Don’t waste your money here!!!

You don’t need driver on every hole. I found myself hitting 3 wood, 5 wood, and Irons of the mix tees.(wht/blu)A tough but fun course to play. The water holes and lake views were phenomenal. If it’s your 1st time like me, play with someone who has knowledge of the course. Fairways in great shape and the greens were slow due to air raiding with in a few weeks. But great course.

Great day at the lake. The course was hard but beautiful. Staff was so accommodating!!!

Course layout was great, facilities are great staff is great, Greens are very firm very difficult to hold. Overall a great place to play golf.

Very challenging and amazing course in great shape. The views are phenomenal throughout the entire round. Fairways are narrow in many holes and test your placement for sure. There are some blind shots so make sure you take a peek ahead.
