About Laura S. Walker State Park
Georgia's Laura S. Walker State Park is located in the southeast part of the state near the Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge and the largest nearby city is Jacksonville 90 minutes away by car. The state park is home to The Lakes Golf Course, an 18-hole course opened in 1996 and plays 6,656 yards from the back tees. Overnight guests of the state park can stay in one of six cabins, each of which are two bedrooms. There are also RV and campsites available. Off-course amenities here include a dog park, sand beach along the lake, boating, kayak and stand-up paddleboard rentals.Facts

Hidden gem
This is my 6th year spending the months of Feb and March in SE Georgia. I play this here several times each trip and the course gets better every year. Its a bit off the beaten track but it is worth the effort to get there.
Best value and well maintained course
I'm never disappointed with the play and quality of the course. Staff always helpful and friendly.
My review of the Lakes at Laura Walker State Park
The Lakes at Laura Walker State Park is an outstanding value and course is in great shape. Greens are fast fairways have lots of grass and the staff wants you there to play. Very user friendly staff and course.
Laura Lake Course
I paid through this app for 18 holes of golf including a cart. My wife which doesn’t play golf decided to go with me and ride along so I would not be by myself. Staff made me pay for a cart fee for her to ride with me. Total rip off, I really don’t think I will be returning to the course

Extra rider
An extra rider like if you bring your wife just to ride with you cost 26$ witch is ridiculous
