Great course
The greens are looking good & they’re not as firm as when I last played in November. Overall the course is looking good, bunkers were looking perfect, I’m guessing they must have just filled them with sand. My only disappointment was I booked my round through golf now on Friday & after a 1hr & 10 minute drive, we were told it was cart path only, it seemed dry enough to at least do 90 degrees, so this made for a lot of walking, with my bad knee.
Fun Track
First time playing this course. I have been waiting on the new greens to come in, they are in and very nice( hard and fast) maybe after more play it will soften up. I would give this one a chance if you are in the area. Great and friendly staff, very helpful. Pro shop has a little bit of everything clubs, balls, clothes etc..
great links style course
Friendliest people in the whole world (except the lady in club house. Seem likely she woke up crabby that morning). Greens were absolutely perfect. Starter, maintenance people, and golfers were exemplary in their manners and friendliness. I look forward to the next time.
Getting Real Nice
The greens were redone last summer and are really starting to get in great shape. The greens roll very good and if more folks will repair their ball marks will only get better as the weeks go on.
Love the new greens!
The most important aspect of course conditions are the greens ...the new greens make this course a favorite!
Greens are the smoothest around
The course has transitioned into dormant grass in the fairways. Greens are still very firm but are the smoothest I've seen since our groups trip to Robert Trent Jones Trail in Alabama. Worth the drive.
Greens are great
This is my go to, local course and it's so much better than a "state park" course....... the recent money spent to TOTALLY redo the greens was money well spent, and the staff is keeping them in great shape.... keep up the great work guys!!!!
Lakes at Laura
Overall my experience was great . The only thing thing I didn’t like was the pace of play .. there were too many people playing for it to be more enjoyable .. there were golfers lining up 3 deep to start off the tee on most holes . But the golf course is nice , the greens are still new so they are hard and fast .. but that being said I would recommend playing here …
