Golf ⛳️ in a State Park
This nice golf course is located in the middle of nowhere in a Georgia State Park. Be careful GPS data for navigation might be inaccurate. Other than that all golf related items from staff friendliness to greens have been good. There are no traffic noises in the area, just the sound of carts (with GPS) and animals. Very nice atmosphere. I’d come back when in the area.
Fantastic Course!!!
My son and I were visiting relatives on Saint Simon’s and decided to make the hour drive to play this course. The course was in perfect condition and pace of play was excellent. We ended up playing 36 holes. We can’t wait to come back!
Great Course and Value
Great course. Greens are always in great condition. Fun and challenging.
Be Sure to Keep Ball in Fairways
I love playing this course, but be prepared to lose balls this time of the year if you do not hit the fairways. Rough is currently deep cut and thin.
My Favorite Course
I can't say enough good things about this course. It's my favorite layout in the North Florida/South Georgia region, no houses on the course, and the staff is always super friendly. I make the drive from Jax as often as I can to play, and it's worth every mile of the trip. As noted above, it's my absolute favorite course!
This course was in really good condition
The tees fairways, and greens were all well maintained. The greens were slightly slow. The rough was deep which made the course more challenging. I really like this course.
Good course with variety of holes
This course has some long holes, so short holes, some easy holes, and some difficult holes. The course was in good condition, but the greens were a little slow.
The pace of play was a little slow.
I always enjoy playing this course.
Overall condition of the was very good. The course was very wet though due to all the rain we had . The greens were rather long & slow which I am sure was intentional due to the extreme heat so they would burn up!
Always fun
The course was good, but the greens were on the slow side because they had aerated about 3 or 4 weeks ago.
