About Sapelo Hammock Golf Club
Sapelo Hammock Golf Club is a semi-private golf club on the Georgia coast, about an hour's drive south of Savannah. The golf club and community has a small amount of guest accommodations onsite, highlighted by The Eagle's Nest, a two-bedroom unit located above the clubhouse and overlooks the Georgia marsh. There are additional two and three-bedroom units overlooking the 4th fairway.Facts

Very nice course
fairways starting to green up, greens rolled true. Most importantly, I played there 5 weeks ago and the gnats on the driving range were the worst I have seen anywhere. I took me 4 holes to get all the bleeding to stop.Today there were none on the driving range or anywhere on the course. Great views on many holes and worth the drive from Savannah.
Don’t show up hungary
The course is in really good shape, zero complaints. I made a mistake and ordered a cheeseburger. There is no doubt in my mind ithat the burger was leftover from the day before. It was cold, shriveled up and tasteless. Oh yeah, it was $15 with no tip. Bring your food with you!!!
Same ole Sapelo
I’ve played this course many times always like it. Kind of crowded this time of year but got plenty in. My biggest complaint is I put inmy golf now gift card number when I set it up and still had to pay. Don’t understand ? But course was good fairways hard tee boxes sparse greens god view bea. I enjoyed my day !
March Saturday
Nice course for the money. The layout is tight with trees along both sides of most fairways. The par threes are tough as you have to clear water and/or marsh on several. Views of the marsh are pretty. Watch out for allegators!
Sapelo Friday before St Patrick’s celebration
I had to pay when I got there no record from G N. Had to wait an hour for a cart. Slow but better on back nine. Greens great tee boxes bare fairways hard but always beautiful and great layout
All about the greens
Really nice course, fairways and tee where in ok shape but the greens were in tip top shape. Maybe not the fastest greens but rolled pure and they made it worth every penny. Bonus that range balls were included in the price.

Friendly staff. Well maintained course. Beautiful setting. Well worth the time and money.
Great course
Always super friendly staff inside and out. Asst. pro let us go off 20 minutes early in a perfect slot. One nice foresome let us play through at # 10 and we finished our round in 3.5 hours. Greens were a little slow, but in great condition. Sandwich in the clubhouse was tasty and reasonably priced. It all made for a good day.

The course grass is in dormacy and thats only an issue when one is play just off the fairway, seeing the ball is difficult
