About Sapelo Hammock Golf Club

Sapelo Hammock Golf Club is a semi-private golf club on the Georgia coast, about an hour's drive south of Savannah. The golf club and community has a small amount of guest accommodations onsite, highlighted by The Eagle's Nest, a two-bedroom unit located above the clubhouse and overlooks the Georgia marsh. There are additional two and three-bedroom units overlooking the 4th fairway.

Always a great experience

My only disappointment was sand on the greens. They were still faster and truer than most courses in the area, but it wasn’t the perfect experience it usually is. I didnt see a notice about this when i was making my reservation.

Great day......poor play by me....

The course was in the best shape I have ever seen.

A few of the tee boxes were a little burned, but the fairwasy and greens were fabulous. Greens runnning fast and true.

Bugs were bad, and tit was really hot, but still a great day.....

Good course

Greens were awesome, fairways and tee boxes were good. Overall conditions were what you expect for a public course at that price but I would recommend. Couple tricky tee shots for players who are playing for the first time, back 9 is great
