About Sapelo Hammock Golf Club
Sapelo Hammock Golf Club is a semi-private golf club on the Georgia coast, about an hour's drive south of Savannah. The golf club and community has a small amount of guest accommodations onsite, highlighted by The Eagle's Nest, a two-bedroom unit located above the clubhouse and overlooks the Georgia marsh. There are additional two and three-bedroom units overlooking the 4th fairway.Facts

Enjoyable to play
Had no idea I could have saved $30 by booking online until told by the server after I paid. There is insufficient signage directing to some holes. No Marshall on course and no beverage cart, yet small coolers are not allowed. The scorecards do not depict or silhouette the holes and there are few range markers with no GPS in cart. If you just come to play, then its a good deal, but don't be looking for amenities Had the course not been in such good shape, the rest of the comments would indicate 3 star

Greens were in great shape and course layout was beautiful. Saw plenty of wildlife while playing. Will definitely be coming back more often.

Fun to play
Golf course is challenging and well maintained. Greens are in good shape as well as the bunkers. Scenic views on course is a bonus you can't get everywhere.

The staff is extremely professional and friendly. Maintenance guys are respectful of golfers and more than one took the time to express appreciation for coming out to play. Great place to play !!!
