About Sapelo Hammock Golf Club
Sapelo Hammock Golf Club is a semi-private golf club on the Georgia coast, about an hour's drive south of Savannah. The golf club and community has a small amount of guest accommodations onsite, highlighted by The Eagle's Nest, a two-bedroom unit located above the clubhouse and overlooks the Georgia marsh. There are additional two and three-bedroom units overlooking the 4th fairway.Facts

Great views
Yes great views, very friendly however course conditions poor wet, greens winter treatment, tee box's dirt, roots, no course features every hole except par 3 were about the same, price was what you get at $32, long drive maybe go back after aeration season

Great experience
What I like most about Papelo Hammock,besides the fact that I love the golf course, is the golfers I have met there!
Great guys that have invited me to play with them.
Met a visitor from Iowa that I played with on my latest visit.. had a great time with him.. one of the most enjoyable round I have had in long time

Course is decent. Pace of play is slow . Not a bad course but it’s not a $70 course . $35-$40 at best .

Challenging Course
I love the layout of the course! At the moment the grass has not fully come in and they are still waiting on their new golf carts but doesn't slow down the number of players. Southern friendly!!

Coastal Paradise Golf
Special Place. Beautiful. Original. Marshland and. Massive live oaks line the the course. Quiet. Unforgettable. If you can find it. Lol. No two holes are even similar to one another. Staff is very friendly. Amenities are great!

Overall great course to play. Course was in great shape considering all the weather we have has below 32 degrees! Staff & amenities were 5 star quality!

love the course
I enjoy playing at Sapelo. My only negative is that they have went up over the last year so it's not as good of a savings to drive from Brunswick. I will continue to Plat there but I will be traveling to other courses with the same cost.
