About Sapelo Hammock Golf Club
Sapelo Hammock Golf Club is a semi-private golf club on the Georgia coast, about an hour's drive south of Savannah. The golf club and community has a small amount of guest accommodations onsite, highlighted by The Eagle's Nest, a two-bedroom unit located above the clubhouse and overlooks the Georgia marsh. There are additional two and three-bedroom units overlooking the 4th fairway.Facts

Good course
This course is always fun to play. I play it usually every month atleast 1 time. Keep up the great wlork!
Another Great Day at Sapelo Hammock
This was the 3rd time some of us had played this course and it was in fantastic shape. This was the last day of a 4 day golf trip for me and 7 buddies. Some had never played the course before and everybody raved about it. The course is challenging but fair. All the holes have their own personality not like some cookie cutter courses. We can't wait until we can come back.

Great course
What a perfect day for golf! Course was in excellent condition and well worth the trip to get there! I would highly recommend this course for the settings of marsh lands beauty. It might be off the beaten path to get there. but when you do you will say it was worth the drive and their prices to play

Most Enjoyable, Great Pace of Play
Had a delightful time at Sapelo Hammock (as usual). Course is in good condition, greens were in very good shape. Pace of play, thanks to the two thoughtful and gracious 4somes that let this single play through, was astonishingly quick. 2 and 3/4 hour round, 8:55a to 11:30a. The combinations of a good course, very good conditions, hot but nice weather, perfect pace of play and a great value makes Sapelo Hammock compelling.

My Georgia favorite
Third time playing this course. It’s my go to when my wife and I come see the grandkids. Very nice views of the awesome Georgia oak trees. Tee boxes, fairways and greens are always on point.

Enjoyable
the staff was so nice, spoke to several residents and everyone was very welcoming. We really enjoyed the round of golf and can't wait to [lay again.

Very nice layout!
This is a very nice layout with some very interesting and diverse holes. A pretty secluded area. The only issue here was that the greens had been heavily sanded. The staff couldn't have been nicer..

sand on greens
This is a great course and the only reason I gave it an average rating is they had sand on all of the greens which made putting very difficult .
I will come back, I only wish they would tell Golf Now to put a disclaimer on website about sand on greens

Great course, out of the way
Great course in good condition. Marshland views on several holes. Greens seem to be in good shape, but they are only cut to roll at average speed.

Great Experience
The course is always in outstanding shape. The layout is challenging but it makes for a lot of fun! I have recommended to anyone that asks me , where would I want a challenge on a well kept course. It is a little ride to get there but it is well worth the trip to have a great time!!

Wonderful Course, Staff are Terrific
Sapelo is a pleasure to play. It has a great many scenic holes, and the layout is very enjoyable. Some of the greens are recovering from some damage, but they did a good job of positioning the holes away from the affected areas. Course seemed a bit on the dry side, but maybe that was just a spring time change as the weather gets warmer and watering demands heighten.
