About Sapelo Hammock Golf Club
Sapelo Hammock Golf Club is a semi-private golf club on the Georgia coast, about an hour's drive south of Savannah. The golf club and community has a small amount of guest accommodations onsite, highlighted by The Eagle's Nest, a two-bedroom unit located above the clubhouse and overlooks the Georgia marsh. There are additional two and three-bedroom units overlooking the 4th fairway.Facts

Always worth the drive
A 40 minute drive is always worth it to play Sapelo. Didn’t see anything to complain about. Greens are nice but a little slow, fairways are great and most of the tee boxes are fine.

Beautiful Golf Course
This golf course is very beautiful. I love the Marsh and Beautiful Oak trees with Spanish Moss. Very friendly staff and good lunch at the clubhouse.

Beautiful day on Sapelo
Had a friend down from NC and we had a beautiful day on the course. The course was in great condition even with all the rain the night before. The staff is awesome, so friendly and helpful. Keep up the good work.

Visitor to the Brunswick area
I found the whole experience great. Friendly folks, ease of play, and I highly commend the maintenance program. The greens collars, approaches and fairways are perfectly tended to and the fairway mower operator seems to really care about the course, giving the fairways character and little surprises here and there making the experience memorable to a golfer like me who plays lots of rural courses as well as high end locations..

Wonderful course
One other most beautiful visually golf courses I have ever played. One hole after another was a Kodak moment. Also course was in great shape. Even though they had just sanded and aerated the course it still played very well. Several tee boxes to choose from so all levels of play was allowed.

Solid Choice
Beautiful course tucked away into a quiet little area. I only have one complaint and it's not really a complaint. I was not the biggest fan of not actually having a paved cart path. Some of them bumps were big lol.

Sprinkling at Sapelo
Th staff was awesome, the course was fun, in decent shape. A few dead green spots but very few. Fairways drained well considering it had rained heavily while we waited to tee-off. and scattered sprinkles throughout the round. Worth the drive from SSI.
