Beautiful Back Nine
I'm a 21 handicap and the front was moderately easy from the white tees. Some bunkers but only one water hole. The back is beautiful with several holes on the marsh and others with water...and the wind picked up significantly. Much prettier and harder back
Scenic
The course was beautiful. Loved all the water and bridges across the marsh. Just gorgeous!
Always a pleasure
It's always a pleasure to play here. Seeing little gators, playing the marsh. The course is very well maintained. The Pro Shop offers interesting items.
Nice Course , Slow Pace
Unfortunately, the group ahead played from the black tees but did not have the skill to do so. They required more shots than those who should play from the.black tees to complete each hole. There were four in the group and the pace was very slow.
Great track. Could use a marshall to move people along
One of my favourites. Pace of play was okay but could have been better. No marshals on the course.
Back 9 is beautiful. Gnats are bad though near the marsh. Clubhouse closes early. Post round beer on the patio would be nice but it was closed.
I was paired with a nice gentlemen. We had a nice round of golf. Day was perfect. Its a little expensive, but with gold pass i got a good rare:
Personal Best Greens Outt Well
Can't complain about a course that partners with me for my best gross and Net round in 40 years. Bar was terrible slow as they seem to have no clue.
Hot deal value was awesome
The course was definitely one of the nicer public courses we have played. We especially loved the back nine - the holes were interesting to play and the vistas were fantastic There was a nice driving range but you could only use your irons. The putting area was located adjacent to the range and the first tee was almost adjacent to the practice facilities. We would certainly go back there!
Best public course on the island
If you’re golfing on st. Simmons, this is the course you must play. A great track and great scenery.
Beautiful course
Love this place. Excellent layout. Tale of 2 nines as back nine out in the marshlands. Played in 3 hours. Great staff as well
