Great layout
I love this course. It’s in great shape and well cared for. The staff is always very friendly. I watch for the deals and try to play whenever I can get a good deal. My only complaint for this course is in my opinion they’re walking rate is way too high
Hot Deal Steal
First time playing the course. Staff , course, and layout is excellent. Greens rolled true (about a 10,), fairways, and green side rough were in good shaoe. Tight on many holes so don’t need the driver. Played blue tees (6.2 index) and enjoyed the day with my son. Highly recommend this public course over any other St Simons or Jekyll Island tracks.
Great fun
Enjoyed a beautiful round with my husband, and the course teemed us up with a really fun guy.
Very nice course with a Hot Deal Discount
I am glad we got a hot deal. Would be overpriced at over $100 a round. We got lucky and started off the back side at our 1:44 tee time. There is NO STARTER - Teeing off on #1 was a family from another country with rented clubs and literally 2 baskets of range balls to play with. It literally took them almost 20 minutes to tee of #1. We joined another twosome and headed to #10 and never waited for one shot for 18 holes. Granted that is not a normal situation but I had to tell the story.
Second round
Second time playing this course and again it did not disappoint. Course was in good condition and layout is challenging. Definitely play here again.
Superb conditions, stunning layout
This course is in excellent shape and is downright stunningly beautiful on the back 9. Never played anything like it. However, it is a very challenging track and the lack of a course map is disappointing. It would be stellar to have the screens on the cart for course management (including greens and pin placement), due to the importance of placing shots. But even that the course doesn’t have a simple layout available is surprising. Don’t get too wrapped up in knowing where to place your shot and you’ll have a blast!
St Simon golf
The King and the Prince golf course offered us a good playing layout. Tees can be used to fit our level of golf. Marshes got in my way but it was my first time there. I would recommend the course and would play it again.
Worth every penny!
I was very lucky to get a tee time. The course wasn’t crowded but it was worth the trip from Jacksonville. The wildlife was amazing. Great day and round!
Gem on the Island
Played this course multiple times prior. Course is in pristine condition and they must have hired new staff in the pro shop (after reading a few other reviews related to rude employees- which I've experienced as well). Pace of play was AWESOME and we never waited for a single swing. Greens were rolling great- beware, they first 4 greens are a bit slow then BOOM- they speed up real quick!!! Layout is great and not an overly challenging course even from the blues or the tips... beware though, the bugs this time of year!!! Bring your spray and just be prepared, but for any serious golfer, a small inconvenience for this beautiful course!!
