Love this course
Played in just over 3 hours. Great lay-out! Hard to beat those par 3's in the marches.
Cold and rainy. Pace of play na. I was the only idiot out there.
Breathtaking and fun
I never get tired of playing this course. So many interesting holes. I don’t know if I could pick a single one as my favorite. The par 5 (3) is a brut. Club selection is tough as the wind swirls. The par 4 9th hole is a beautiful cape, and offers a precarious approach. While 10 and 11 are great holes , the par 3 12th might be my favorite. It’s 115 yards of holding your breath. Looks so innocent yet positioned in the marsh with the wind changing, makes picking the right club like choosing a winning stock. The staff are solid but not overbearing. If you are in the area don’t miss this gem.
Great course, superb location
alway enjoy playing K and P, specially with the GolfNow special deal. Will go back definitely.
Great as always
Love this course and layout. My favorite public course in the area. One bit of feedback would be to leave the clubhouse and bar open a little later than 3pm. If you have a later tee time by the time you get to the turn they’re always closed. Pack a lunch if you play at 1 or later.
Alligator Alley
Such a beautiful course for a crisp, clear, sunny day. The layout is challenging and everything is always so well maintained. The greens are a rich green and the bunkers, if you have the bad luck of landing in them, have fresh sand. The fairways are meticulously mowed. Adding to the pleasures of this course are the frequent encounters with the indigenous wildlife, the big birds such as great blue heron, great white and snowy egrets, woodstork and ibis, and ubiquitous anhinga. And it’s a rare day not to encounter an alligator, big or small, who seems to favor a spot to watch lazily near the tee boxes. Enjoy it all.
Great day
Due to cool windy weather we were able to play in 3 hours and 15 minutes. Course was in great shape. Greens were flawless but had less break than you would think. Excellent value.
Slow, but splendid
This is a gorgeous course and always a treat to play. We got off to an unusually slow start, with several foursomes heading out late before our foursome. However, most of these groups played efficiently and soon disappeared from sight. One group was extremely slow, playing shots repeatedly, hunting too long for lost balls, and dawdling around the greens. We finally had to skip the 16th hole, because the sun was going down and they weren't getting ready to tee off there. Even with these troubles, we all agreed that playing at the beautiful K&P golf course was a great experience on a perfect day.
