Mountain gem
My son and I play there often. He takes lessons from the pro, Mike McCall - second to none as a teacher. The course is a great test of target golf. Makes you use the hole bag. Views are awesome and the greens are perfect. Go and enjoy a great round!
Beautiful Course
We live in Florida and make a yearly trip to N Georgia to play golf, this was our favorite course this year. The views and wild life was fantastic, the layout of course was great. Loved the par three that was very elevated, will be back next year to play again.
I love this course
I have been playing this course since the late 80's. I love this course and the challenges it presents to this flat lander from Florida. I have raised all three of my son's playing this course and we play it at least twice every year. Thank you for all the fun and memories. I hope there are many more to come. Ken Starling
Mountain views
Greens were excellent. Fairways are narrow with a lot of elevation changes. Mountain views on most holes . Two black bears walked by us on 12th tee box.
Good Day to be on the Course
The staff was very helpful and the course was in great shape. The elevation changes are an adequate defense and test of the course. I will be back
Tight and very scenic course...must hit the ball straight to score...fairways ok greens were excellent and rolled very true...will be back and highly recommend this course
Beauty and rough
This course is both an interesting beauty and an up and down ski slope. Good shape, great setting, very nice greens, but the lay of the land leaves a bit to be desired on more than,a couple holes. On some, holes my partner and I would stand on the tee box and say "really?". Very narrow slice of fairway with huge up and down. Also in addition to being narrow fairways, a ball hit just several yards off the fairway can hang on a 45 degree slope, due to heavy and clumpy ground cover. So, if you want to enjoy a day in the mountains AND be golfing at the same time you can enjoy your day. Just don't expect to play to your handicap on a consistent basis.Staff was extremely friendly, and helpful in working around the member outing.
Innsbruck
This is one of north Georgia's hidden gems. It's a challenging course with tight fairways. Overall experience is a great time.
Course has fallen into disrepair
The cart paths are full of jarring potholes, but hey you have a smart cart. The bunkers are all poorly groomed. Half of the fairway on many of the holes is rocky red clay. The only good thing about this course was the quality of the greens. Would not play again.
Beautiful views....great time
The course had taken a lot of rain the evening before...but the course held it well and was in great shape. Great pro shop and very courteous staff.
Had a great day!
Great layout what a shame the course was in bad shape
Always great course
My wife and I play this course on a regular basis and always find it to be a delight. We had not been in a few weeks since they had made the improvements to the cart paths. A welcome surprise to find the paths repaired, and the layout and routing of the paths much improved. The greens were about 10 days into their aeration and although a few holes were showing, they rolled true. A great course to play and the layout a delight. A good challenge needing precise shots, with little margin for error. Bring your A game; but the more you play, the better you score. The staff are always friendly, and the scenery spectacular.
great course
We had more fun here than any course I have played. Each hole is beautiful and fun.
The staff was excellent.
Bad Green
Staff always extremely friendly,They punched the greens about a week ago and they are basically UN puttable...open holes and very bumpy. I know they have to do it but it is really bad right now. Love the course but will return after the greens heal up.
Picturesque
Difficult with narrow fairways, many blind spots and hard to hold greens. Great GPS. Have to play numerous times for good score to learn the holes and where to play. Overall interesting mountain course but can be frustrating.
New coirse
This was my first time on this course. It is very challenging , lots of hills very steep cart paths. We thruoghly enjoyed it.
One,of my favorite courses
Staff always extremely friendly . Course is always in great condition and very challenging. I drove 3hours jusr to play that course
Very Interesting
Don't be fooled by the length of the course. You have to premise on almost all your tee-shots. The fairways were better than normal according to my playing partner but it was a lot of hard bare dirt. The greens were almost perfect. They were fast and were all in great shape for a February.
I would definitely play this course again.
