Perfect Condition for September
This course is in “prime time” condition. Greens were perfect but not fast. Great layout. Have played in past and will be back this Fall
Uphill and Blind
Way too many uphill shots, especially into the greens. And way too many blind shots.
Great condition and great value
Course was in excellent shape. Friendly staff.
However, there are a ton of blind shots on this course...I was sent out alone, and playing the course for the first time it was very difficult to know where to hit. And then when play backed up, it was very difficult to know when you can hit without hitting into the group ahead. And the number of uphill shots was more than I cared for.
This is my new favorite course. Most state park golf courses are in excellent condition and fairly priced. No houses and very quiet. Highland walk is a perfect blend of tough holes and easy holes. Wish I lived closer. It would be my new home course
Always fun to play here
I come here regularly. It one of my "go to" courses for a nice day of relaxing. I recommend it highly!
Great Shape
Fairways and greens in fantastic shape, friendly staff.Log jam on the back nine. Ready to play it again
Good Course
The course was very reasonably priced. I thought that the greens were tough to read. Bermuda greens, which is not normal in Georgia, and it made it tough to read because one green would be soaking wet and slow, then the next would be hard and fast. Areas around the tee boxes were not well kept and any rough area was tough to find your ball because the grass was so high. Carts were in good condition and had a single USB port on either side for people to use. Some holes were almost impossible to find the fairway because of how tight the fairway was and there was zero relief around to help out, thinking of number 17 particularly here. No waiting to play between shots and very nice people around the course made the experience enjoyable. Overall I would play again, but it is not somewhere that I feel is easy to score or to play efficiently for the intermediate golfer.
Excellent Course
A good challenge for any golfer and …in very good shape! Kudos to the groundskeepers!
Great experience
This is an excellent choice for golfers of all skills.
One of the best course
Has to be the one of the best course in ga. The pace was a little slow every time I came here but the green, fairway, and even the bunker is nice and well managed. This course is not easy however for the cost is a must go. FYI this courses a lot of slopes and hills. Mostly uphill
