Challenging
A course in the middle of Mountains
Very challenging and we had to follow the instructions in the descriptive guide otherwise it is easy to be in trouble
Just one bad note the type of grass for the green would require to be rolled more often as they become a bit bumpy
Highland Walk March 20
The course layout is great. Still wet from the weather, cart path only, but still a great round.
Feb 2022
Greens too slow an inconsistent
Bunkers need a lot of work
If you want to play great fast greens go to Hard Labor creek
Drove 1 1/2 hours to play this one but was disappointed
Could have driven 15 min for a better experience
Wide open with great views
The GA state courses are not easy but Highland Walk is in great shape (especially considering it's winter) and very worth the drive. There are some hills to navigate (you'll feel it in your calves the next day, even with a cart, I can't imagine walking here really) but most holes are wide open off the tee, and there are some steep ups and downs which can make scoring difficult but the openness makes it a mostly comfortable, enjoyable round. The staff is friendly and the practice area is nice too. We go to get out of the city. I enjoy the farmland on the drive in and out. And another point on scoring, the greens are in great shape but pay attention to the grain because it matters here. Support our state courses, they're nice!
Didn’t post rules on GolfNow
When I booked this round I wanted just the two I had payed for to play but they wanted to make monies over what I payed for. It doesn’t have it written anywhere on golf now that if golf course wants to over book then they can pair you with next two. So over all next time I will pay for four and play two.
Sand traps were unplayable and cart paths rough and way too hard for seniors. Edge of fairways had a lot of bald spots.
Great pace
I have played this course many times.
One of the main reasons I keep coming back is the fast pace of play.
Wonderful course!!!
While this was our first time playing this course, it is quickly becoming one of our favorites. The value is top notch - my wife and I were able to enjoy 18 holes each for an absolutely amazing price.
The course challenges all levels of golfers. Blind shots into greens, elevation changes, undulating greens, severe dog legs... all of the characteristics make for a fantastic experience for solo or group golfers. 10/10 will play again.
Challenging!
Fun course with some unique holes in a park like setting!
Great Course / Better Staff
This course is a hidden gem with an awesome staff. We played on Christmas Eve and had no problem with pace of play. Course is in great shape but it is winter so careful of lost balls. Will play again!
First time
Nicely laid out course. Played late November so we battled some leaves on the course. Fairways were generous and in great condition. Will definitely like to try it again.
Sand not cared for at all. Course needs more attention
