Best value in Georgia
Fairways and Greens were A+ Pace of play was great 3 hrs..
A Ways to get there
Great course on a beautiful piece of land. Lots of elevations so keep club choice in mind. Greens were in excellent shape but very little break which is disappointing.. First 2 holes are nice ,easy almost practice holes. #3,#1 handicap will truly test you. A boogie is a great score..#17 play's extremely long even from white tee's. Fun Track.
Pro shop staff Ronnie very rude
The guy in pro shop was a real rude and not respectful to me his name is is Ronnie course is great but they need a person with some people skills.
Love this Track
The first 2 holes are like practice holes, pretty average holes, but then after those that is where it gets interesting quick with several much more difficult ones. Lots of various elevations make this course fun and requires proper club selection. Fun course to play. I wish the greens were a little faster as they have very little break IMO.. Still a great course to play.
Greens were very healthy, a little slow but I have played many courses that would love to have these greens! Horrible reception from guy working the counter. I am there to give him money to play his course, a little friendliness or gratitude is not too much to expect. Probably my last time playing there.
Good for the $
The gentleman at the checkin has never been very friendly. The fairways had apparently been mowed after having been let go for too long as there was an abundance of grass clippings in the fairways and around the greens. Greens were very slow but decent condition. Pace of play was decent.
COmfort and CHallenge
Nice course, good shape for a muni, confortable and fun, yet you do have to hit shots. There were lets and rights, downhills and uphills. Greens were consistent, and you have to play the grain. Very enjoyable track. Pace of play was good. Definitely a comebacker.
Highland Walk is a Diverse Layout
Short and Long Holes. Great views. Greens in good shape, not overly fast. Some blind shots, just make sure you know where you are going. Great deal for the money.
One of my favorite courses in North Georgia
I drove an hour from Helen to play this course and, having played it in the past, I knew it would be worth the drive. Probably one of my favorite courses in all of northern Georgia. Excellent lay out with blind tee shots, elevated greens and outstanding course conditions. Also, you can't beat the price.
