Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort and Spa

What a huge disappointment this course was. We played on a Hot Deal so fortunately it was only 50 bucks but if I had paid $120 to play this golf course I would have been livid! They should be ashamed of themselves for charging this much. That is a $50 golf course in the condition it's in. Period. And it really is a crying shame because the layout is solid. Really nice views and some great holes.

And lets talk about the senior tees. I played with my 77 y/o father who hits it about 210 off the tee. Probably pretty average for a senior. Why, IN GOD'S NAME, would you have a par 5 measuring 558, another one measuring 515, a 200 yard par 3, and a handful of par 4's that are almost 400 yards? I've never in my life seen this. It made the round impossible for him. It's just plain stupid.

As a said...a huge disappointment.

We drove up from Orlando and played a few rounds. We played at 3pm and the views from the course as the sun was setting were amazing. However, the course was very wet, easy to lose balls in the rough. The fairways, while they were mowed, because of how wet it was there were many times where it was extremely uneven. Once this area gets a break from the rain and things can dry up the course will be back up to the value for the money.

Played last year and it was fantastic. This year they should be ashamed to charge $126 and send anyone out to play a course in that condition. Clumps of cut grass on all fairways. If they had been honest and told me I wouldn’t have gone out.

This course is one of the best in Savannah. It has been closed for several months. The course opened back up September 1, 2022. Thought I was in for a spectacular day. It was a surprise when I got out on the course and the fairways have not been cut and the greens was not up to standard. I know it’s been a rainy end of the month of August and into September.

Not up to standards. I can not see paying more than $25 at this point. But will try again in a few weeks because it’s a great track and I know it can get better.

The greens were very disappointing! I understand they are redoing this year. I would not play again until they improve at any price!

Greens well maintained. Design was nice.Fairways in good condition. One should be aware that there are Alligators out on the course. Since I am from California, that threw my game off a little bit. Nice course.

I love this course and try to play it wherever I am in town. The course conditions were above average except for the greens. Surprisingly they rolled better than I expected. It is my understanding that they are redoing all of the greens. I play about 3 days a week and when I go out of town I expect to play good courses. I would recommend this course to anyone. The course had power problems so we had no food or beverage from inside. Beverage cart was excellent along with the starter. Great staff

This course always delivers a good time. I am a local and have gotten to know a few members and staff quite well. What a great group of people. The course is challenging (for me) and I enjoy the layout. If I'm not mistaken, the course is due for some upgrades this summer but definitely go and enjoy when/if you can.

First of all, I'm shocked by some of the recent reviews saying the course was in bad shape. I played on 3/29/2022 and found the fairways and greens to be excellent. No idea how it can go from "very little grass in the fairways" to being perfectly lush and full in one week, maybe they had scalped everything and it had grown in?

The greens were a little slow, that would be one my only complaints. The other is the $165 green fee. That was way too steep but I guess worth it to play once.

Fantastic practice areas and great/fun course to play overall.

Extremely disappointed in this course. Great website but it goes down hill from there.

No staff to greet you or help you get started. Limited hours on the snack bar.

Course is in horrible shape throughout and the on-course restrooms are a disgrace (see photo).

There are way better options in the area. Stay away from this one

The course condition was not great. Not much grass on the fairways. It is also too open to be a great challenge.

I have played this course 4-5 times. Decent overall condition except for the greens. Ok value if you can book a green fee deal. Not so much at the rack rate.

Totally unacceptable, I understand that they are going to be working on the greens in a few weeks but I can't understand why the entire course appears to have had little or no maintenance for at least two weeks

Poor quality for price. Greens were slow and covered in disease. Kitchen understaffed and slow. Design is pretty vanilla.

Overall a good experience! Greens are being totally redone in April '22 so very rough snd bumpy. On course washrooms closed no mention in the PS when we teed off. Pace of play was slow! Great green complexes etc.

Overall alot of fun!

Greens are TERRIBLE, and they don’t tell you at check in.
