About Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort and Spa
The Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort, part of the Marriott Bonvoy brand of hotels, is a golf resort located on Hutchinson Island in the Savannah River on the Georgia-South Carolina border. There is a marina that allows boaters to stop off at the resort for dinner or golf. The resort is home to the 18-hole Club at Savannah Harbor, which features a championship course designed by Bob Cupp and a golf academy. The hotel has 390 guest rooms, plus extensive meeting space, multiple dining concepts and an outdoor pool. Guests can take complimentary water taxis across the river into historic Savannah, Georgia's oldest city.Facts

Pure Class
This was the most enjoyable golf experience my wife and I have ever had. Every member of the staff was highly professional, courteous and prompt to attend to us. The course was challenging but fair. The condition of the course is top notch and the amenities are first rate. The 19th hole staff was amazing as well. Adrian was our host and was super courteous, professional and accommodating to us.
I literally cant say enough good things about the course, staff and amenities. Tee off and enjoy!
Nice course. Decent layout. Greens fair. Pace was okay until the back 9 Off day so could have been much worse. Staff snotty. No real engagement. If I’d paid full price I’d be disappointed.

Don’t bother with this course
You will be very dissatisfied with the condition of the greens here. Bumpy, missing grass, painted. Bad. And for $180 bucks is disappointing to say the least. The girl who had to cover the bar and the restaurant was beyond rude. Very limited food options. Can’t even get a good hot dog. Only plus side was the beverage cart girl. Who was awesome.
I played this course yesterday, and you must be an idiot if you paid $180 knowing that they are redoing all the greens (I paid $49). Also, the staff is wonderful, but you get what you deserve. Maybe treat people the way you want to be treated, Judge Smails.
Greens need a little work
1st time back since November 2020. Couldn’t beat the price. Saw announcement that the greens will be renovated starting in April and yes they do need work. But for winter golfing it was excellent to get out.

Nice layout
Nice layout. GREAT pace on front 9 but somehow ended up with 4 groups on 10th and stayed backed up for most of the back. Greens need some help but we did enjoy the layout and the course in general. Although really glad we got a deal and didn’t pay $100.

Good Value
First time playing here. Staff inside the clubhouse and the starter were both very pleasant. Pace of play was basically 4 hours, May have been quicker, but never saw a Marshall. Course layout quite good. I played gold tee blocks and my wife green. Lengthy course but I am a low handicapper. Ponds and sand traps were strategically placed. Greens were on the larger size, but unfortunately they were in poor to fair shape. Once the greens get better and the fairways a little too, this course could easily be ranked 4 or more. I will be back again.

Decent course
We had a nice time golfing here. The layout is good and the atmosphere is comfortable. It was a winter round, so I understand why the course wasn't in great shape, but I thought the greens were in poor condition for the cost of the round.

Worst greens I’ve ever played on
There are muni courses that have better greens than this course and for a lot less than $100. Great layout but probably the worst greens you’ll ever see at a golf course with that price. Won’t be back

Great layout with many traps and bunkers.
My wife and I really enjoyed our round. The greens were bumpy but not slow. The fairways were wide and in good shape. We will play it again on our next trip to this area.

Greens not what they once were.
Had not played SH for awhile due to timing and cost of the rounds being so high. Caught a deal on a Monday, was really looking forward to it. Course is as good as ever but greens were not good at all. Small patches with no grass all over every green. They use to be in great shape and fairly fast, not anymore. Not sure how long they have been this way but sure glad I didn't pay $100 or more for the round. Saw a sign in the clubhouse stating they are going to renovate all the greens from April - August this year, along with other course improvements. Guess I'll check it out next year.

A Great Day of Golfing
I’m from Savannah, Georgia and l played with a gentleman from Baltimore , Maryland We played the members tee boxes , so some of the tee were from the black, gold and silver tee boxes. I love that format it make the game a very fun day with a great golfing partner.

Always a good time
Beautiful course and great layout. This place is loads of fun to play but if you want perfect conditions wait until Spring. The greens were overseeded recently and are so bumpy it definitely cost me a few strokes. Otherwise its near perfect.
