About Mauna Lani, from Auberge Resorts Collection (Hawaii Island)
Mauna Lani, Auberge Resorts Collection, is located on the Kohala Coast of Hawaii Island's west coast north of Kailua-Kona. The resort is home to two 18-hole championship golf courses at Mauna Lani, the North and South courses, as well as a WikiWiki short course for casual rounds. The Auberge completed a $200-million reimagination of the property in 2020. The resort has more than 300 guest rooms and suites, plus a limited number of bungalows. The greater Mauna Lani development has over three miles of Big Island beachfront. There are five open-air restaurants at the resort featuring locally sourced dishes and items. There is an abundance of outdoor activities to partake in on both land and sea, and the SurfShack is a hub of activity that has everything from board rentals to yoga classes and scuba. Five 4,000-square-foot bungalows are also available for rent for larger groups, featuring two bedrooms, three baths and a private swimming pool and spa.Facts

Fantastic Course & Views
A must play golf course when staying on the big island. This course will not disappoint.
Wiki course
Everything about it was great. Staff was friendly and helpful, course was fun .
First time
Layout is very narrow and punitive, course was in excellent shape, staff was superb. Course knowledge would have been very valuable
Excellent course
Played the south course. Really well maintained and was fun to play. Great views from multiple locations.
A must play if on Big island.
Have to walk with no pull carts
Didn’t realize this was a par 3 when I made the reservations. The course wouldn’t let me pay the difference to play the full course, even though they had plenty of tee times. They wouldn’t let you take carts on the par 3 and didn’t have pull carts. I would not play this par 3 again.
Night and day
After playing the South Course on Monday, we came back to play the North course two days later. Wouldn't have even thought we were at the same place. After 20 minutes at the bag drop, we finally gave up and carried our bags downstairs to the cart. No one down there seemed to be interested in helping us either. Overall the course was in good, but not great shape. Lots of burned out areas in the fairway, but the greens were nice. A few picturesque holes, including #17, but nothing to make it worth the price or playing it again. I think we were spoiled by the service we had earlier. If you can only play one of the two, we'd suggest the South course.
Wow
This was our second round of the week and had a blast. The views here can't be beat. Lots of fun holes to challenge you. Greens were quick, but not as fast as we're used to in Las Vegas, so we left a few puts short until we got used to them. If you have to pick the North or South course, this is the one we'd recommend.
Bottles of water were not for good for me regarding
taste .
Fave course on the Big Island
It’s a bit of a drive from Kona but 100% worth it.
Friendly staff, fantastic course conditions and range with some truly spectacular views. I can’t wait to go back again next year ! Thanks, Mauna Lani. Oh, ya. They also have a 9 hole pitch and putt (45 yards-130 yards and everything in between those distances). That was fun, too.
The best pair
Without a doubt the north and south courses are the best you can play.
Of course there are others that maybe better but normal human beings can’t get access.
