Nice open course Photo submitted by Devin1073124 on 04/27/2013
A+ courses in my opinion. Played BA combination first, very enjoyable. Played C after that and found it to be my favorite.
I would definitely play these courses again as well as recommend them to my friends.
Tee Times
I played in a twosome, that was behind a twosome, that was behind a foursome... there was a twosome behind the twosome behind us...
Classy Hawaiian Golf, but SLOW
This course reminds me of Ko Olina, an expensive course near the Disney resort. It is well taken care of - lots of wide open fairways. The are a few spots where the rough will eat your ball, but overall, the wind is your biggest adversary.
I must comment on the pace of play.. I was able to skip ahead of one group of 8 (counting golfers, wives, and children) only to discover another group of 6 ahead of them. No one seemed to be moving very fast, or even concerned about pace of play. So I just bit the bullet and decided that slow play was the norm.
decent enough
Unfortunately not nearly memorable enough, the layout (A/C on this day) was made a bit more challenging due to the wind. Otherwise I'm struggling to (now) differentiate 1 hole from the next (1 week later). The conditions were good, the pace not so much, I wonder if it's just a relaxed "Hawaii thing". Not my first time playing a course designed (in part) by the "King", that will always sell me on just about any course...
Fun course
The course is in great shape and pace of play was fast. The only thing missing was an on course beverage cart. However there was plenty of cold water disbursed around the course to refill our water bottles. Will definitely play this course anytime we are in Oahu!
Hawaii Prince
Played this course for the first time early afternoon on a weekday, the A and C nines at this 27 hole facility. Course is visually in excellent condition although the greens are a little slow compared to other courses in the area, and there wasn’t much roll in the fairways. Everything played very soft/plush, which maybe some people like but it isn’t my preference. Course wasn’t packed and I finished in less than 4 hours. Not the most interesting or memorable course around, but a solid choice.
Hawaii Prince GC
Correct name above.
Good training course, new driving range, but on mats. Buy balls from machine.
Great condition of the course was a plus
The course was in wonderful condition. The pace of play was good.
The greens were in great shape, but very very slow.
I would play it again, but would not play an early morning round..
KS Duffer in HI
Managed well. Plenty of sand water and hazards to deal wiell. Bev cart around grab it will not see often. B course greens in better shape than A side. Good cart paths and good quality carts, would olay again.
Slow play
The fairway and greens are good conditions. However, we got several slow groups ahead of us and it took over 5.5 hours.
Hawaii prince
Very facility. Course and service. Worth the money
Just okay
Hawaiian Princess has a great layout but the course up-keep is poor.
The greens had many divot marks that were either repaired or not repaired. The sand traps were hard and had small rocks in them. The fairway grass was matted. I would not go back and would recommend finding another course in Oahu if you are visiting.
Blown Away
Very Windy day that caused a few extra strokes on the scorecard.
Bunkers were in horrible condition with only an inch of sand and rock hard underneith that made it impossible to hit a decent shot out of them.
Other than that, the course was in great condition !
