Nice
Not a spectacular course but good conditoons and a fair test of golf.
Awesome greens
What can I say perfectly smooth greens fairways keep in great shape I think because less golfers around the maintenance crew is able to upkeep the course in fantastic shape
Perfect day
Always good experience at Hawaii Prince. Great staff, and beautiful layout for 27 holes.
Challenging but fair
Great course layout that played tough in the wind. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Pace of play was quick but I was but myself. Overall great afternoon and very enjoyable.
Should be rated higher
I don't know why this course isn't rated higher. I was very happy with all aspects of the course. From the arrival, to warmup, start, play, drinks at the turn, to finish, just a great time and great track. More details below if you want them, but let me just say here, best greens I've played all year. Just about perfect! Definitely worth playing.
Arrival was very welcoming and easy, with a nice drive up to the club house, club drop and parking. Painless check-in. Really liked the practice facility. Lots of places to warm up, chip, putt. Starter staff was great. Welcomed me, gave me a good briefing on the course, local rules and conditions, Sent me off solo and course was wide open on a weekday afternoon. Played B-C nines. I thought the course looked a little dried out, but it didn't affect play at all. I loved the layout, lots of challenges, and with the wind, quite a challenge. There were several 400+ yard par 4s I couldn't reach in 2 into the wind from the blue tees. And the greens, super. The speed was just about perfect and super honest roles. Not a bump on those greens yesterday. Plus they have a real quick and easy drink/snack shop at the turn with fully stocked bar.
Honestly, there was not one single detracting element to playing here and I think this course is way underrated on golfadvisor. And it has championship capable tees also so in my mind, it has all the characteristics of a 5-star course
Always a good time
Prince is a fun, somewhat forgiving course. Staff is excellent, and so friendly.
Having 3 nines is a plus, offering a little more variety.
Conditions, all in all, are pretty good.
Restaurant is good, and great staff.
Poor Service
Booked a round for 4 for 6/27/20. Only 3 could play. Cancelled 1 player on 6/25/20. Golf Now cancelled 3 players instead. The other two players received confirmations even after I cancelled to 4th person. When we got to the golf course, the staff told use that all but one player was cancelled. They were less than helpful. Stating "you need to take it up with Golf Now, we cannot help you."
Unable to get in touch with Golf Now to secure refunds for the other two players that were charged, but never played. Very bad experience. More so, poor service at the golf course.
A total waste of time and money
We went to check in and was told our time was canceled; we showed them our confirmation number and proof of payment but they said to take it up with GOLFNOW. So, I drove out there and wasted a Saturday FOR NOTHING! I WILL NEVER PLAY THERE AGAIN NOR WILL I USE GOLFNOW!
Post covid golf
I played here the first day the quarantine was lifted. Oh my God it was in pristine condition fairways great check, tee box clean check. The greens not a divot or idiots who drag there feet marks. I really enjoyed my round. Played today 06/09/20 and still was in great condition not as perfect as the first day but close still getting very good deals on golf now. Yes granted the tee times are later but if I can save 20$ I’m on it. Besides I can use that extra cash to buy chicken wings and a cold beer peace out friends
